Daughter has red Dot on nose?

My daughter has had this small dot on her nose for over a year, the pediatrician never referred us to a dermatologist so I'm just curious if anyone knows what this could be. Could it be a cancer of some sort? Or does it seem like it can be something else? It doesn't seem like it has grown but I also can't tell. There's no bump.

No cancer, looks like a tiny vascular (blood vessel) macule. Cause, unknown.

Broken blood vessel, will self resolve over time. I had one on my left index finger in elementary school and when it cleared in eighth grade, all of a sudden I didn’t know left and right.

If she still has it when she cares about appearance at that excruciating level of preteens, a tiny bit of concealer will take care of it.
