Will coronavirus affect my europe trip?

I’m planning on going to europe in july and going to a few festivals/events etc. Do you guys think coronavirus will escalate and cause cancellations on festivals like ultra europe and/or flights?

NO ONE on the planet knows what MIGHT be the situation in JULY.

Could it be an issue ? MAYBE Time will tell.

They way it is going your Airline might be out of business by that time.

If you are paying attention those two hospitals built in China for this virus are currently closed as they are not needed anymore.

By July this thing will be either history or some horrible ongoing thing is all anyone KNOWS

What difference does it make what 'we guys' think? The simple fact is that even the experts don't know.

Don't waste your time speculating on what nobody can possibly know.

I think it is too early to tell right now.  Pay attention to the news and any updates before buying your ticket.

It's entirely possible - but July's a while off yet, so it's too early to tell

Yes it will affect it, many larger events are already being cancelled and lots of EU countries are restricting travel, some areas of some countries are on lockdown and people have to have 'reason' to travel....so it is very likely

What we think really does not matter,  but I think it is very likely that many things will be canceled or postponed.

    Check with the organizers.

In the short term, you can count on it. By summer, possibly not.

Yes, it's possible.  We don't know what the situation will be by July. Once concern is that virus will mutate and thus infect more people or re-infect people who'd had already recovered from its first form.

We also don't know how much immunity getting the virus and recovering from it confers.  Researchers are still trying to figure that out. If full immunity doesn't occur, if only a certain level of resistance does, then the virus could still be making the rounds this summer.

It's really impossible to say now what will happen.

I think it's very likely it will cancel festivals like ultra europe, but you will be able to fly there.
