Trinitarian: How can Jesus be God if he has a God?
Rev. 3:11-12 kjv
Behold, I come quickly: hold fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Him that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of MY God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of MY God, and the name of the city of MY God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from MY God: and I will write upon him my new name.
Matt. 27:46 MY God, MY God, why hast thou forsaken me?
John 20:17 I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to MY God, and your God.
Paul Eph. 1:3 Blessed be the "God" AND Father of our Lord Jesus Christ
Paul Eph. 1:17: That the "God" of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, the Father of glory, ‘may give unto you’ the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

Very good Scriptures proving that Jesus' God is our God too.--John 20:17---These Scriptures plainly tell us that Jesus is not Almighty God or a trinitarian god as the Catholic church teaches and has gotten others to believe. In fact, just a little research will tell us where that teaching came from. I invite you to learn more about what the Bible teaches from the international website, www.jw.org and Bible Teachings > Online Lessons. Thank you for this question.

God ... Father ... Daddy. When God is your father, and you're of the one and the same awesome, eternal, all powerful, godly stuff, then you're God, too. Since Jesus was eternally begotten of the Father, it's only a very minor matter of seniority and honor, rather than divinity.

Jesus was also a man, and as such worshipped His Father in Heaven, in order to demonstrate to us what we as humans should be doing. He also continuously did things that demonstrated that He was God.

Valid question, and answer came in the revelation from Allah to his final messenger pbuh. Allah says in the Quran: 5:72 - 73
"Surely, they have disbelieved who say: "Allah is the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary)." But the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)] said: "O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Verily, whosoever sets up partners in worship with Allah, then Allah has forbidden Paradise for him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers) there are no helpers.
Surely, disbelievers are those who said: "Allah is the third of the three (in a Trinity)." But there is no ilah (god) (none who has the right to be worshipped) but One Ilah (God -Allah). And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall the disbelievers among them. "

Have you missed the context?
Jesus “emptied himself” to take on the form of humanity. (Philippians 2)
Making him fully God in essence while taking on fully the human nature.
So, yes, _from his human nature_ Jesus does appropriately refer to the Father as “his God”.
I applaud your desire to understand God correctly, but suggest that singular focus on these words misses the over-all understanding of the Christ.
After all, Jesus is our Savior.
And it is God who is our Savior.
Missing the point of who Jesus is misses the point that it is God Himself that has provided for and paid the price of our redemption.
I pray that your heart and mind are opened to understanding.

For the same reason that GOD legally swears oaths to Himself while finalizing Covenants with humans:
13"For when God made the promise to Abraham, since He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself, 14saying, “I WILL SURELY BLESS YOU AND I WILL SURELY MULTIPLY YOU.” 15And so, having patiently waited, he obtained the promise. 16For men swear by one greater than themselves, and with them an oath given as confirmation is an end of every dispute. 17In the same way God, desiring even more to show to the heirs of the promise the unchangeableness of His purpose, interposed with an oath, 18so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us." (Hebrews 6:13-18).
If you ever have any doubt about whether GOD is present or a 'lesser' being, all you need to do is observe how they respond to worship. The 'angel of the Lord' who delivered the book of Revelation responds to worship by immediately rebuking the worshiper, (Revelation 19:10, 22:9). He is an archangel who stands in the very presence of GOD Himself and his own presence caused John to fall upon his face as though he were dead, yet he immediately stops any attempt to worship him.
Jesus, by contrast, responds to worship by receiving it without rebuke, (John 20:28-29, Revelation 5:8-14).
There are only two beings that receive worship without rebuke. One is a demon or false 'god' breaking divine law. The other is GOD Himself.
Which one is Jesus to you?

Because of the Biblical passages which affirm that: Philippians 2:6-7, Mt. 1:20-21, Luke 1:32, 35.

God is a title He has given to Himself.
God has chosen to exist as three persons.
So what if you read a book? Satan quotes scripture too. The word 'trinity' isn't in the Bible and the word Bible isn't in the Bible: it doesn't have to be. We know what we know by REVELATION.
Your problem - your lack of understanding - can't be fixed by reading it. You must know the author of it to understand. What general would give away war strategy to the enemy? God is not His own traitor. He doesn't share His secrets with His enemies, Gloria. That's why you have no peace in your life. It's all an act and we know it. There is no such thing as peace without reconciliation through Jesus. As it stands you remain His enemy.
To become His ally, you must repent and seek mercy. Ask Him to reveal Himself to you. He can't help you unless you are HONEST... completely honest with yourself about yourself. Why? Because He only operates in the realm of truth.
"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
That exclusive statement by Jesus rules out all man-made efforts to get to God, and therefore, ultimately, heaven.
The way to God is a PERSON, not a religion.
"I am the way."
"I am the door."
"I am the gate."
Test these claims Jesus made about Himself, Gloria.
He is the only way into God's Kingdom: Jesus is the one and only real-life PORTAL into this spiritual dimention... a fourth dimention. His kingdom on earth. The cross is a spiritual 'black hole' for the world's sins, crimes and evil. Any organization that makes the (ridiculous) claim "You need Jesus PLUS US to get to heaven." is not from God. Jesus is all you will ever, ever need.
"Come to me all you who are burdened and weary and I will give you rest for your souls. Take My yoke upon you; for My burden is easy, and My yoke is light."
Do this and live.. Do it today. Tomorrow may be too late.

Because Jesus is both God and man. Read John 20, where Thomas saw Jesus Christ risen and called Him my Lord and my God, Jesus did not deny it - He did not say that Thomas was wrong, but called Him blessed, nor did God the Father correct Jesus or Thomas of falsehood. "John 20:27Then Jesus said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and look at My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Stop doubting and believe.” 28Thomas replied, “My Lord and my God!” 29Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
