How can I look up my medical records online?

Each hospital and medical provider keep their own records, pretty much all of which are now in separate computer databases.  Some doctors and hospitals provided limited Internet access to some of those records to their patients.

You will have to check with your provider to see if that capability is available to you.  If so, you will have to establish an account with them--this can usually be done without having to physically visit the practice.

Remember, though, that at least in the US, your medical records are considered PHI (Personal Health Information) and must be securely stored and only made available on a limited basis.

So, the bottom line is that, at least in the US, there's no one place to look for your medical records, but if you contact each practice, you may be able to get some access to your records.

Start with your current medical provider, many of them have online information now.  A big central registry sounds nice but would have huge privacy issues and the risk of breach and the theft and sale of that information.
