Where exactly do you draw the line for government involvement in tackling COVID-19?

I like to see who has a limit as to when the government goes too far for our safety.

Study civics and the Constitution and then employ commonsense to find your answer, H.  The United (emphasis on the word "UNITED") States of America is and has always been a "representative democratic republic" (key concept is "representative") wherein it is we, the American people, who delegate authority in our OF, BY, and FOR THE PEOPLE government to the people from our own ranks that we then ELECT to act on our behalf at local, state, and federal levels---our agents.  We have a hierarchical (tiered) governmental structure where local must yield to state authority, and each state then yields to the federal (unifying) authority---and it is all within the key concept in terms of "draw the line": OF, BY, and FOR the overall good of the American people and the already-great nation as a whole.  Our THREE CO-EQUAL BRANCH governmental structure puts federal at the top of the tiered spectrum, imbued with the job of COORDINATING relief efforts in order to UNIFY the overall response.  When you say the words "for our safety," H---are you all-inclusive for the "our"?  ALL Americans have EQUAL PROTECTIONS UNDER THE LAW here in the U.S., since we are a glorious universally envied MELTING POT nation where folks from all walks of life, ALL faith choices (we are not a "Christian" nation, for example), and all ethnic backgrounds are to receive equal justice and equal protections.  The federal government (supported by our tax dollars and owned by us) has a DUTY to make sure any response to natural disasters (like the current COVID-19 crisis) is UNIFIED and COORDINATED.  Trump grade: FAIL.

The fact that anybody thought Trump meant people should inject lysol into themselves is EXACTLY why we have “caution hot” on cups of hot coffee.

I draw the line at attempting to "quarantine" uninfected people. There is no legal, constitutional, or practical justification for that.

Since we now know that the true mortality rate is 0.1% based on antibody studies, and that the risk is miniscule for the fit and healthy, the entire supposed excuse for these ridiculous measures is now gone anyway.
