Why are mens clothes more appealing?

I too dislike fussy clothes and prefer classics to the chic and trendy. I usually get my clothes from the clearance sales of "old lady" clothes at high end stores like Sak's, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, Neiman-Marcus. Even the sale items aren't inexpensive but they are generally well made and long lasting. 

I also agree just because I feel like women’s bodies are so diverse and clothing makers know this and they don’t design clothes that will look good on all the females. They target their clothing at a particular group of girls. It’s even harder when your body type doesn’t match the average beauty standard. I also feel like it’s hard to find “your voice” when dressing yourself as a woman. Men’s clothing also not only tends to be cheaper but it’s also more comfortable and is made from a higher quality textile

There's plenty of tailored or 'sport' style clothes for women. Who is stopping you from wearing jeans and tees with converses? Your choice how you dress. You're just a tomboy.

Not to me they aren't. And I don't agree that men's styles are better. You are right about one thing:  it's nothing more than your personal opinion that Women's clothing styles suck. And I know that it's the same that in my personal opinion that most mens clothes are boring with little variety in garments, colors or styling and I prefer skirts, dresses, cute shoes, and looking and dressing feminine. I find these thing comfortable and easy to wear and I like the way the make me look and feel. Don't equate feminine with weakness or stupidity. I am neither. And dont mistake opinions for facts. If you want people to respect your wardrobe choices then do not question or put down the choices of others. If you are comfortable and confident in your personal style then buy what you like and  wear what you want in good health. And let others do the same without your need to judge them. There's a lot of negative judgement about women who wear dresses hiding in your question and a lot of self doubt. You've also have a hint of gender disphoria hiding in your question and that has nothing to do with clothing. t's not difficult to find simple easy to wear pants, jeans, tees and shirts in the women's department. Have you been to a modern Old Navy or Zara or H&M store?  This isn't 1959 when stores only sold dresses and skirts. 

It's a matter of opinion and personal choice. Men's fashions change a lot more slowly, and casual clothing tends to be sturdy because men (presumably) are harder on clothing. Trousers are very practical, there's not doubt about that, but women's trousers are designed to show off women's buttocks and hips. There's nothing wrong with dresses or skirts; the designs, materials and patterns can be really interesting. I wouldn't advise anyone to wear high heels, ever.

The whole world of fashion is very much about status, and I strongly suspect it is dominated by gay men who hate women's bodies (fashion models look like tall adolescent boys).

Women invented clothing and sewing, and probably made the first fashion decisions. I think this is why clothing is so important to women.

The main reason men's clothes are simple . not heavy work on cloth like women's cloth.
