How are Liver, Bile and Intestine interconnected?

how can something travel in between liver, the bile duct, and intestine in human body?

    Tubes, they are called portal veins.

    Bile is produced by the liver. Through the bile-duct (and often the bile-bladder) it flows into the intestine to help digest food
