What would happen if Trump dies before the election?

Won't happen. They've enough drugs, steroids and sorcery to make their newly elected sacrificial king last through the televised Christmas at the White House and pass his full term to Pence at New Year's Eve. Remember to look past the Straw Man and see that there's a group clinging desperately to political power. Trump's too unintelligent (yous guys) and too obese and unhealthy to lead the Proud Boys to victory in the rahowa and genocide. Pence is really their man, sharp and lean. You fail to defeat Trump in the 2020 Election and you are living in the Fourth Reich period.

He wouldn’t be President. Simple really. 

As Vice President Pence would become President, and presumably the RNC would name him the Presidential candidate and name a new V.P. candidate to run with him.  There would be a problem in many states, where laws would require Trump's name to remain on the ballot.

I think the last time a candidate died close to an election was 1868, Democrat.

"Dies before the election" ?.....   "Dies" ???.... Remember that our Prime Minister contracted C/Virus and survived, recovered.   Trump will recover too... GUARANTEED !

It sounds like that isn't all that unlikely, the death rate from COVID19 is not the 0.1% associated with flu.  It appears to be between 2-10% and is higher in the elderly and obese (both applying to Trump)

I guess it would depend on the circumstances. How did he die? Heart attack? Did his lungs implode because he couldn't stop spouting mad random bull$hit?

I don't think Mike Pence would win an election out of pity for Trump.

If Trump was shot, then sure, that's enough for things to turn ugly. Did I say ugly? I mean... uglier.

As an outside observer, It seems to me that it wouldn't take all that much for another American civil war to happen, I'm sorry to say. The nation is so deeply divided. This Q-anon stuff, it's actually pretty scary how many deluded and twisted people there are in America. How did that happen? How did rationalism and education become dirty words for a major chunk of America?

Look... I hope that the election goes ahead as planned, and I hope that Trump loses... because people cared enough to vote this time, in spite of a pandemic.
