Call the gay center and talk to the counselor. Find out where social groups are held. I know it's hard during this damn pandemic but at least you can. talk to other kids. Once we get back to normal hopefully you will be able to get out there and hang out with other boys. Don't forget to talk to lesbians- they have guy friends too. HUGS from a boomer lesbian.

Ironically by not rushing at it too hard. Efforts in life sometimes backfire in counter intuitive ways. People do push you to be "honest" and that's okay to a POINT but that's as far as not deluding yourself or deceiving others. Being openly needy and desperate is rarely attractive, though I am grateful to the VERY few people who respond to that, and it's usually better to act just a little harder to get than you feel, which is called "having Game". Ironically, most people won't help you when you display your throbbing need and want the man studiously ignoring them. You need to get to 18 anyway so take my advice and don't LOOK for one, just work out and get yourself more and more gorgeous without seeming like you care, with the intention of waiting 4 years. Then that counter intuitive irony kicks in and somebody notices you working out not looking interested and you will probably NEVER make it 4 years before it happens.

Being under age is going to be hard, most sites, you must be 18. If you ever get a chance to move, to a Blue state.

If there are any gay youth groups near you - join them. Also try Trevorspace - an online gay youth group that is monitored. Alabama is pretty anti - lgbt place to be. Plus at 14 - many guys that are gay just have not come to terms with it yet or if they have they are too scared to be out. Network with any gay community centers near you. I would not recommend being out in Alabama as a minor. I know there are at least some lgbt in Alabama because i’ve me them down here in Florida. Maybe some gay youth groups are meeting online now and you can join them, check with gay community centers in various cities and see if you can join a meeting.
Study hard and get good grades. Your ticket out of this could be college. Pick a pro lgbt school with an active lgbt community.
Or just move to a pro lgbt place after high school.

Just ask someone out who you are attracted to, remember that rejection is okay and not to get too hung up on it.

Its not an easy state to be out in. You kind of have to move to a state where its safer to be open about your sexuality if you want to meet peopke
