My husband was exposed to Covid by another employee who may have known she either was at risk or ill due to contact with an infected relative.

No, a few months ago Trump signed legislation to prevent employees from holding employers liable for contracting Covid and gave employers the right to sue employees for Covid damages of contamination. I know that sounds exaggerated but it really happened, fact check it.
