why did yahoo answers take the comments feature out?

    because when you have to block someone, because they are rude. they would go on someone's answer in the comment section and cuss you out or get rude. many on here have tons of accounts

    It has nothing to do with the election.  They had to do something to lessen the bullying/abuse/slander being posted.

    They never gave a specific reason, which is the norm for Yahoo.

    Per Yahoo:

    Yahoo has Temporary Disabled Comments Until they turn them Back on you wont be able to Comment

    They made a Annoucement about it here is what they have to say about It

    Inflammatory and inappropriate postings have forced Verizon to temporarily disable comments as of July 23. Safety and security issues were also the factors behind this decision.
