86.125% in a course?

Hi,

I got an 86.125% in a course. Should I email him and ask if that can be rounded up to a B+ (which is normally an 87). I don't wanna seem needy or have an awkward moment, but a B+ would help my GPA.

    Personally, I wouldn't embarrass myself by begging for a higher grade than I earned. If he is amenable to "rounding up" to a B+, he'll do it without your asking. 

    If there are a few days left until his grades are due, maybe ask if there's an extra credit assignment or something else that you can do to bring up your grade a bit.
