Everything has a reason do you know why this person might be showing different feelings towards you? It takes a big person to turn the other cheek so to speak when being treated unfairly try to remember Jesus experienced hatred injustice and worse and he still loved all sorts of people and even died for many so it won’t be easy to forgive forget and give others a chance to have a change of heart. We all make mistakes rub each other the wrong way and imperfect. Keep conquering evil with good. Don’t let their actions or lack of showing natural affection change you you change them by being positive and better than them.

Find out what the reasons are .By trying to help what type of commitments are you making . Will they have any adverse effects on you .Will there be any financial commitments . Think about the legality of you assistance . After all the person concerned is not in good terms with you .If there is no adverse impact on you consider helping the person .Otherwise politely refuse .

I'm with Coach Simon. What a person thinks of or believes about you is not the basis for your decision on whether to help them in a time of critical need.
You help someone because it's the right thing to do, and you don't if it's not.

For the sake of helping someone in need, perhaps, no matter what their opinion of you. If you help, their opinion will probably change; if you don't it probably won't.
