Does front wheel drive mean the front tires spin or rear? while the others dont ?

    It just means that the front wheels are what makes the car go and not the rear like pickups.

    ALL the wheels SPIN! 

    The drive wheels are in the FRONT.  If the road surface is slippery, a front wheel could lose traction and slip.

    No, I think all four wheels should spin. Front wheel drive means that the front wheels pull the car (drive) & they also steer the car. Rotate your tires.

    Front wheel drive means the front wheels have power - all four still spin.

    Front wheel drive means power is applied only to the front wheels. Rear wheel drive would be just the opposite.

    It means the front wheels are POWERED. If you're sitting on slippery ice, the front wheels will spin while the rear wheels don't and the car goes nowhere.
