When can we stop wearing masks?
And when can we stop social distancing? The problem I have with social distancing is the negative stigma behind it. I still get into some arguments with people because they misunderstand that when I do distancing, they see it as I'm trying to avoid them. That's why I want this all to end. I'm the type of person who wants to spread positive vibes but, in my opinion, social distancing means being antisocial. Maybe a better term would be "physical distancing", don't you think?

We will be allowed to stop wearing masks when conservatives become enthusiastic about wearing them. I don't mean merely conscientious, but actually enthusiastic, because they will be hard to identify when they go to protests. Then we will be ordered not to wear masks in public places. And I will start wearing the Muslim niqab. Just kidding.
It's odd, but none of the masks look cheerful. I make my own masks, and I put smiles on them. The only smiling masks you can buy are creepy, or evil looking smiles.

The true believers will make us stay masked for the foreseeable future . I wish I was kidding, but elected and appointed officials in this part of the world are telling the public that masks will continue to be necessary because the vaccine isn't 100% effective, one can still be a symptomless carrier, etc., etc., etc.
I have colleagues who have become more and more fearful as time has gone on: We had masks coming back to work, but the plexiglass barriers between two people who work in the same room just went up a couple months ago.
The owner and I (two oldest employees) are now staying home three days a week...

Oh stop. No one in their right mind is going to mistake social distancing for simply avoidance during a pandemic.
