Well, since the police are being defunded, perhaps they can find jobs as social workers to go into violent situations and 'Talk the perp to surrender'.

Most Construction workers on the Keystone Pipeline are migrants in the construction trade. They move where the work is and work for companies that do the same.
Welders, pipefitters, Concrete and Carpenters in that industry travel a lot, get good wages as long as it lasts, and in the boom and bust cycle of all mineral extraction jobs it never lasts forever.

Joe Biden's unity of hope and change v 2.0
Seriously, he shut all that down, BEFORE he had anything to replace it with. People in this country, (like me) will not be getting new electric cars, anytime soon at all. Everybody (except Joe, it appears) knows YOU NEVER QUIT YOUR JOB UNTIL YOU HAVE A BETTER ONE LINED UP!
