A question about ‘dumb and dumber to’?
In the sequel ‘when Harry met Lloyd’ it is only Harry and his mom living at the house and LLOYD asks what happened to Mr. Dunn, to which Harry’s mom said he passed away.
In the second movie they go back to Harry’s parents and they’re an Asian couple. In all seriousness, am I missing something there?
The best answer I found on google was that ‘at some point ‘Harry’s mother was killed and he was adopted by an Asian couple’ ok dumb and dumber writers and what about Lloyd’s dad? The Janitor, there is absolutely no mention of either of their parents in the final movie, nothing about death, etc. huge frustrating plot hole

I think the 'when Harry met Lloyd' movie was blasted away from the cannon. (that means it's not accepted as part of the real story)
