First, the seller has to release ownership of the car by signing the title. The buyer then takes the signed title to the DMV, and the state issues a new registration and title. Some states might require additional paperwork to complete the process, such as a bill of sale or a transfer of ownership form.

Go talk to a lawyer. They can make up a new deed and handle getting it recorded at the court house.

You can only do that if you own the property outright.
Check with a CPA or tax attorney first to find out what the tax liabilities are for both you and the recipient.

Did you check for tax consequences? Just execute a deed, available at most office supply stores, and record it. You have to pay minimum stamps. But if you have a mortgage you can't transfer without paying the mortgage off.
