Joshua starts making fun of a shy female teacher for "being a virgin". How will his actions affect the teacher he is making fun of?

One night, a bunch of teachers in Munhak Dong go to a bar and get pissed drunk.

Joshua is a very popular teacher. Mary is a very shy, petite teacher.

Joshua, being drunk, starts making fun of Mary for "being a virgin."

He does this infront of the other teachers. He tries to force Mary to admit that she's a virgin.

According to some of these teachers, and to Josh, being a virgin is a horrible thing and not a personal choice that someone makes about their own body.

Joshua tries over and over again to force Mary to admit her vaginal status to the group of female teachers infront of her.

Mary must work with Joshua for the next 10 months on school property.

How will this incident psychologically affect her?

In any civilised country, she would not have to work with him at all, as he'd be fired for sexual harassment, bullying and totally unacceptable and inappropriate behaviour.

Joshua is not fit to be a teacher at all.

He's a disgusting, nasty, ignorant, misogynistic excuse for a man.

Joshua was a drunk, rude, @$$hole and Mary should not answer his question ever.  Mary should refrain from going to places outside of school where Joshua goes.

If he is making fun of her sexual behavior (or the lack thereof), which, by the way, is none of his business, he needs to know that it can be classified as a form of sexual harassment and he can be fired for it if she decides to file a complaint about him.

I don't know why Mary doesn't just get up and leave  -  AFTER she's made a careful note of the offensive remarks Joshua has made, and a list of those present, so that she can report him the next day.

And I really don't see how her being "petite" has ANYTHING to do with any of this.

In any case it's pretty clear that YOU are a troll.

I tip my hat to Cogito, as I so often do without announcing it.

There is no reason Mary should have to see Joshua. In my district, he'd be fired for cause, and not get a favorable recommendation to potential employers who contact the school for information.

Unfortunately, Mary still has to work with the buttwads who allowed Joshua to harass her. If I were Mary, I'd keep to myself. Those people are certainly not friends and barely decent colleagues.
