If you select BROIL on the stove, the top burner will produce more heat than if top and bottom burners are engaged. Instructions on package meat says to cook until temperature reaches 165 to 175 degrees. Surely high temperature will kill any microbes and possible viruses. Past French scientist in the 1870s. Dr. Louis Pasteur, determined that applying a temperature of 130 degrees for 20 minutes  will kill dangerous bugs. Pasteurize is used to honor the scientist and explains why milk is pasteurized.

They'll be hard as rocks before you kill any virus.

I'm not sure how to respond.   You are immune to most viruses that exist.

Why do you assume there's any virus on them?

The virus is not everywhere as you've been tricked into thinking.
