do you think our school punishment is deserved or too harsh ?

as i write i am confined to my bedroom, as a extra punishment set by my parents for setting off the fire alarm at school, i have just got home from serving my first of 2 FULL saturday detentions, it was HORRIBLE we had to be in school at 9am in FULL school uniform white shirt black skirt , tie and a black blazer, we the had to write punishment essay until 12am then an hour for lunch, at 1pm we had to copy out the essays, we were not freed until 4pm. we also have 1 and a half hours detention on tuesday, wednesday and friday for 2 weeks

My parents said that setting off the fire alarm is such a stupid thing to do and requires a harsh or even severe punishment, my parents have not said set how long i will be punished for but i should say goodbye to my freedom ?
