How do I ease my girlfriend's concerns?

So I've been with my gf for about 2 months now, and I feel like she doesn't feel I'm committed. I used to date this other girl named catie back in March of 2020, and then we were forced to break up by her mother who thought I had possessed her with the demon of homosexuality. Today my current girlfriend, Reileigh, asked me if I still had feelings for catie, and I said no (which was the truth, I have been over her for months now). Reileigh kept asking me if I was sure about this and said "it's okay if you still love her, just don't lie to me." How can I convince her that I don't have feelings for catie?

You both need to talk this over if there is no trust there might be no point in having a relationship. Ask her if she trusts you

Reileigh seems like an insecure girl. Maybe she finds Catie is more attractive than her. The only way you can convince her you don't have feelings is to show her all your love and compliment her. Eventually she will begin to trust you

It's impossible to prove a negative - "how do I prove I don't have feelings" is like "how do I prove that I don't have a pet walrus" - you can say, "look, there's no walrus here" but they will just keep accusing you of hiding it. Reileigh either trusts you and believes what you say, or she doesn't. If she brings it up again, say something like, "How many times are you going to bring this up? and how many times do I need to say I'm over her?" or "I'm beginning to think you don't believe me."

Sometimes, when people get jealous, it's a sign of insecurity. Reileigh may need more reassurance and affection than she's getting from you, in general, and it's not really about Catie at all.
