Why does the scale say i put on 10 lbs and I look and feel the same ?
Hello, i am a 5'3, 25 yr old female. I started doing heavy lifting this year..., other than daily cardio for the past years and also i started taking protein shakes...i always measured 5'3 and weighted 130... this was my usual weight. I always weighted this and maintained. But i weight myself every month or so. Since i always maintain and have felt the same. I weighted myself today and i am at 140. I do have my heavy carb days of course since i restrict myself all week. And maintain a good diet... but all my clothes fit the same, or even better than months ago. Anybody experience this?

The scale is more accurate than your feelings. Maybe you put on muscle.

You shouldn't worry about it. It's fine. It could be water.
Your weight doesn't really tell you anything. It doesn't tell you what fitness level your at, and it doesn't tell you how good looking you are. It doesn't even tell you how much fat you have.

Muscle weighs more than fat. So its possible to be around the same size, but gain weight if you're doing something that builds muscle.
