Romantic on those hot humid summer nites; a beautiful sight over a beach. Moon rising, full moon shinning down is what memories are made of.

I'm more impressed if it's very large at night ; or perhaps when I see it during the day...the latter usually a surprise. Other times, I notice whether it's full ; going behind clouds ; its details ; its different shapes - one can comment on it -...although I rarely go out of my way to see it. I do also think of man walking on it. The moon is mysterious - more than the too bright sun -, and romantic, as it's usually seen at night ; and sometimes it ISN'T there. It's a kind of companion to the Earth ; reminding us the latter's round. I know it has influences on the tides and the Earth ; but that's less interesting for me

I like the moon, but I am not one of the twelve people who have ever had opinions and thoughts while on the moon.

The Moon, is a proper name, so capitalize 'M'. We should have bases on the Moon by now.
Other than that, no other thoughts.

I do not think about it much, not since 1969, when a popular question was
Would you like to go there.

The Moon brings perspective. Observing the Moon, and I mean really looking – sitting comfortably, or lying down on a patch of grass and letting her light fill your eyes, it's easy to be reminded of how ancient and everlasting the celestial bodies are. When I do this, it always puts my life into perspective.
