Why does the Holy Spirit not have a name?

The Holy Spirit is not a person ,but the powerful active force of Jehovah God. 

The Holy Spirit was used in the creation of the Universe and all other things.

The Holy Spirit helps us to remember the sacred writings and apply them to our lives to strengthen and comfort us.

Jesus promised his apostles before his death, that he would send them a helper when he’d no longer be with them physically.

What a wonderful and loving gift the Holy Spirit is to those of us who love God and his son.

Maybe that is an office rather than a single being.

The Holy Spirit does have a name. It's Jeff. 

But it sounds too stupid when you bless the Father, the Son and Jeff.

"Holy Spirit" is His name.

It does, its name is "Cuthbert L. Gooch".

It doesn't like the name so it rarely uses it.

It is not a thing but a concept: the soul--- by which  I mean the psyche and its natural way reductionist determinism---allowing itself to be moved by the whole---by which I mean the non-psyche movements eg., the emotional state, the body, the subconscious mind, the environment and other people.

Normally, the psyche or ego has its own movement that is self sustaining and isolated from the whole. This is a selfish state and always focused on reaching a better internal state, just as we have learned to improve our external world. 

However, our internal nature isn't like the external world, it's more like a tree - - - with simple trunk, more complex BRANCHES, and still more complex sub-branches, twigs and leaves. It is not possible to improve the psych in the same manner as the external world: ie, via evolution towards a goal, step by step. 

Perception comes from the simple trunk and branches ie, the basis of beliefs and experiences - - - from the simple to the more complex. Thus, improving the ideas at the peripheral edges (the leaves on the tree) of perception does not change the basis of those perceptions. One remains trapped on the same train track, no matter if you decorate the carriage, because altering the carriage doesn't change the train track. 

Ergo, the attempt to improve the self is doomed to fail and at the same time, it robs the mind from any ability to listen to the non-psyche movements and be receptive to them.

The Holy spirit is just a translation of Kadash (קָדַשׁ) ruah (רוּחַ) "רוּחַ קָדַשׁ", which literally means: to keep back or withhold (Kadash) the mind, soul (ruah) ie, not just allow it to iteratively follow a self centred internal narrative attempting to make changes, become something, but to keep the brain quiet and able to listen actively.

The act of listening to the non psyche movements is the force that changes the psyche and inspires action.  

Because the holy spirit isn't a person or being.

Jesus said the holy spirit is the finger of God.

The Bible always describes it as belonging to God.

It is God's holy spirit.  It is the spirit of God.

It is never called 'God the holy spirit' and yet God is a spirit being.

Some try to insert their own belief into God's word and say his name is Paraclete , which means 'helper' & 'comforter'.

The holy spirit being described as a 'helper & comforter' doesn't mean 'it' is actually a person.

Only that the holy spirit will take on the role of helper & comforter.

We have all heard the expressions 'helping hand' and 'he placed his hand on our shoulder to comfort us.'

By means of sign language, people speak with their hands.

By means of our hands we can guide others.

By means of our hands we can support others.

But our hand is not a different 'being'.
