Jack Parsons of JPL fame was a thelemite occultist. (source-wikipedia).  Should rockets and the occult mix? Occult is not science after-all.?

Thelema (/θəˈliːmə/) is an esoteric (intended for or likely to be understood by only a small number of people with a specialized knowledge or interest) occult social or spiritual philosophy and new religious movement developed in the early 1900s by Aleister Crowley, an English writer, mystic, and ceremonial magician. (Crowley actually called himself the wickedest man on earth, and was a known pedophile.) The word thelema is the English transliteration of the Koine Greek noun θέλημα (pronounced [θélɛ:ma]), "will", from the verb θέλω (thélō): "to will, wish, want or purpose".

Quite clearly, the occult/Satanism should have NOTHING to do with rocketry, JPL, or NASA, but Parsons was well acquainted with it, even heading up his own thelema occult church.(source-wiki) Satanism and Rockets do have a connection however, if we understand that occult practice is centered around magic. Rockets that go to the moon or mars are simply impossible, but with magic, anything is possible.

If you believe in rockets to Mars you are believing in Occult wizardry.

Update:

This one flew over heads.
