Why do I need to get vaccinated for COVID-19?
I'm not an anti-vaxxer, and I believe in the science of vaccines. But I have never taken a vaccine in my life, so why should I be vaccinated for COVID-19? I've never taken a flu vaccine. There was also a controversial vaccine called Dengvaxia against dengue fever in which it was administered to Filipino children, and they died after vaccination, although I'm not really sure if it's misinformation by the government authorities at that time. I'm just curious why it is important to take a COVID-19 vaccine if I've never been injected by any other vaccine in my life. If I get vaccinated for COVID-19, should I get vaccinated also for the flu, or any other type of disease?

You've been vaccinated in your life. You wouldn't have been allowed to attend school otherwise.

If you went to school, you were most likely vaccinated as a child and you were too young to remember.
Look up the information on the companies websites. They should have more accurate information.
You can chose not to get it, but you may be limited in the things you will be able to take part in in the future. You also may still have to wear a mask if you don't get vaccinated.

Saving other people, you could be a carrier with no symptoms. In time you won't be allowed to travel without one.

No one can FORCE you, unlike the face diaper mandate. Just be prepared to not fly or enter certain stores or restaurants.
