Planning on turning myself in, how long will I have to sit in jail?
I violated state probation in TN for evasion, reckless endangerment, 3 failure to appears, and 3 driving on suspended- I’m originally on state probation for aggravated assault and I had a total of 6 years on papers, I violated recently with only 3 years left on papers- my question is this; if I turn myself in how long will I be in jail? I’ve heard mixed answers; some say I will have to sit in jail for the remaining 3 years on paper plus any additional time for my other charges, others say for a first violation they’ll only put me in jail for 30-45 days and then reset or add more time to my probation. What’s more likely? Thanks in advance.

If you intend to turn yourself in you're going to set there in that jail for about 6 months before you get your hearing. It's probably best in your case to please guilty to violation of probation on the very first day your first appearance. If they reinstate your probation fine.
If not they'll send you to prison for the remainder of your 3 years. And in about a year you'll get out on parole. It would be to your best advantage to just plead guilty to everything your charged with and take your jail time.
And while you're in there take whatever school that they offer you. Just get it out of the way because if you stay on probation they'll end up extending your time and you'll still have whatever charges you had to deal with.
You might want to consult with a lawyer but if it was me I would do my jail time and get it over with.
