No -- the purpose of our lives is for us to become more like God.

Life is about correctly conforming your will to God's will. Doing so, you can typically have things "both ways".

Life is all about solving problems and improving reality

    for the people around you.

And making more people to continue that work.

Most people have to work and just deal with routine tasks.

Many choose to raise families and that is their focus.

Having a milkshake doesn't take much chasing, but if I had as many milkshakes as I wanted, I'd get sick.  I don't think I've had once since October, but I think I may get one today because it's supposed to get up to 80F this afternoon.

Aside from that I spend most of my time watching TV.  My TiVo chases down the programs for me -- once I set it.  Tonight is the premiere of "Chad" where a 39-yr-old woman plays the part of a 14-yr-old boy.

That's one way to describe it, if you are young. If you are older, the pleasures are a little less chasing and a lot more to do with gratitude.

Life can be as simple or as complicated as you want it to be.
