My boyfriend was let go from a job that he was in the Teamsters union a few weeks back. A guy from the union has stopped by 3 times already, no call ahead as far as I know, my boyfriend doesn't answer unknown numbers he just waits for the messages. He says he wants to talk about benifits. He says that my boyfriend can keep them at no charge. The union guy is coming back next Sunday, does anyone know if this is for real? What does guy want so bad from my boyfriend?

I was working a temporary job that made my carpel tunnel flair up. One hand is severe and the other is moderately severe. My doctor put me restrictions and said I needed surgery on both hands. So I was let go from my job. I am jobless and more or less unemployable because the restrictions basically prevent me from taking any job using my hands.

I applied to my agency for workman’s comp, but I have not heard anything from them yet. I applied for unemployment and made them aware of my restrictions, the woman I talked to indicated she was going to push my unemployment through. I really am unable to take any job until I have surgery. With the requirement of having to search for a job what does that do for my case of workman’s comp? I feel as if they are waiting to find out if I apply for unemployment to tell me that I have attested to the fact that I am employable.

This is a weird case since I was not a permanent employee so they owe me nothing and did not have to keep me on the payroll until the situation is resolved. With that being the case, I have no income. I want to get back to work after surgery and if I get started now with surgery I could be back to work in 6 months to a year. I just do not know what to do because if I have surgery I am unemployable until I am healed, so no unemployment.

What can I do in this case? What are my options?

The computer store told me it would read my old drive so I could get the files off of it. I have searched for help and it looks like the directions are for formatting the external drive. I want to be able to see it as a second drive so far I can't even do that. The new computer recognizes it and then says it doesn’t. I have down loaded the drives and software from the Coolmax site but they seem to be about formatting too.

Is this the unit I needed to do what I am trying to do?

I hardly drive anywhere, my job is only 4 miles from home. The driveway at my apartment is a hill about 3 car links long and I dread when it snows I have to spin my wheels at a high speed all the way up or I will slide back down and I slide down the hill going out.

All snow ties are not the answer cause the problem is is only when it snows.

I'm trying to find something in the middle.

Please help there are too many options and no real answers.

OK, so the training place wants $6000 for 6 days.

I just want some control over my failing 401k which is at -12% over the last 10 years holding less money than I had taken out of my pay check over that amount of time. My company has not matched in 5 years and no raises in that amount of time either.

I figure that I couldn't do much worse trading on my own than what has happened with my 401k.

But where do I start? Do I take the trading course? Are there DVD courses? Online investing sites doing training? I see the same company has DVDs that are being sold on Ebay, not sure if that is good or bad and if the info is current. Just looking for some friendly advice here and hope that the answers will benefit others who read this in the future.

I am creating a website and it is asking me to choose a word or use my whole name run together. What are they looking for? Is it like .com or .net? Will my name come after a dot?

I don't want to know about how you do not have to clean out your colon. I understand all of that. I am interest in the the minerals. The problem that I am have is getting a raging headache when I try just a little bit. I can't find anything about that written anywhere. For years I have had horrible itching skin problems. Over the years I have developed excessive sneezing and runny nose. I figured out not to long ago that some of it was due to laundry detergent. I found one day that the smell made me sneeze like crazy day and night. Shampoos,soaps,and perfumes have been culprits too, almost any smell when it is acting up. I guess over the years I could not pin point anything. I have had allergy testing that for things that people are most allergic to and nothing. It is hard to do chemical testing. This has crept up on me over the years, now I never free from the sneezing and runny nose. I have had 2 sinus surgeries in the last 2 years. Benadryl has been my savior over the years, But only at night it would make me sleep thru most of night until I wake up sneezing and my nose running like a faucet,not mention the terrible burning. Being at work is terrible because of all of the cleaning agents and people smells. Today is just crazy, the carpets were cleaned this morning and I came in just after they were done. My nose and eyes are running and the sneezing is uncontrollable, my lips and mouth are so dry from breathing thru my mouth. When I leave the room it calms down, I am hopping that when I get outside I have some relief, but damage will have been done for today and I will returning to this tomorrow.

My van was broken into and my daughter's purse was stolen. The store we were in made me surrender my purse at the door so my keys were out of my possession. My car alarm was going off and the doors were still locked. Another funny part is that my car alarm does not work, it only works if you hit the panic button on the key fob, The police officer watched part of a surveillance video, we were allowed to see just few seconds, a woman walked up the street past other cars directly to mine and then the headlights flashed and she went into my van. She used the credit card at 2 places 1 block away from where were at. There had to be surveillance there and she has to sign something. Bottom line is I am not getting satisfaction from the police dept. What about other people this business did it too? Maybe they are getting info to break into peoples house too.

By the way this happened in Milwaukee on 13th and Manitoba, if you think something like this happen to you let me know.

We do the Zoo every year, anyone have any new Ideas? It would be for several hundred people. Our Company is in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area.

It is estimated that 111 million people watched the Super Bowl. Is that how many TVS were tuned in to it or is that how many people watching that TV? If the average TV had 3 watchers during that time it would more than the whole US population. Just wondering how this was counted for some fun trivia.

It seems like as soon as it is not summer anymore I start sneezing and get a runny nose at work. This not just a little bit either. I can be sitting at my desk and all of sudden my nose starts running and I sneeze uncontrollably and will it stops just a suddenly. I work in a call center, I stay in the same spot all the time, not mention how hard it is to talk on the phone while sneezing and holding my nose while it is running.

This has been happening for years, but not all the time I have worked here. Last winter I went through allergy testing, I had no allergies. Last spring I had sinus surgery because the ETN Dr said one side of my sinus was full. Nothing has changed. I spray my nose saline, decongestant, and other nose sprays. I have taken Claritin, Zyrtec, Benadryl, Hydroxyzine, nothing seems to help short of quiting my job. Does my place of business have any responsibility in this?

Other people sneeze more than usual during these time, but nothing like me

We are throwing a big party tomorrow and wanted to surprise the person the party is for with talking to people on skye and doing some karaoke. We just realized we won't have access to Internet at the hall. How can I hook my lap top for internet access for the day. Someone mentioned internet sticks, what is that?. is there a dial up way? or an antenna of some kind? can I get these things at radio shack or Walmart? I am open to ideas. maybe even paying for a month access.
