  • Allergy test for Bismuth Oxychloride?

I've just bought Bare Minerals (BM) set of foundation, mineral veil and bronzer. I tried on the first day I noticed 2 small cystic acne here and there. I'm not sure if it's the cause of it or it's just me being paranoid. I'm 36 and I started to have acne in my late 35. Currently I'm on antibiotic and hormone pill for my big cystic acne. My dermatologist told me not to use liquid foundation, that's why I bought mineral instead. I can't go out without applying makeup. I feel ugly.

So yeah, since I've bough BM, I desperately need to know if I'm allergic to BM. I need to know. Which part of my body should I smear BM to see if I'm allergic to it besides testing it on my face my face?

  • can I get acne right after applying make up?

I was at Sephora last night. I tried on Bare Minerals foundation on 1/2 (left side) of my face. I like it. And I bought it. But last night, after washing my face I felt a tiny bump under my skin. After lunch the next day, I noticed that it has turned to a cystic acne. Just one acne. So now, I'm afraid to use my started kit because once I open/try it I can't return it back. I can still return if it's unopened. So...could it be a reaction or it's just me being paranoid?

I'm 36 year old female. Recently I've been having really bad cystic breakout. It stopped after my derm applied acid chemical on it. Now it has peeled of, but I can still see pinkish skin colour. No more acne except, ONE after applying the Bare Minerals last night. I don't want to open and apply all over my face and get acne all over again ;( HELP!

    Thanks everyone.

  • How do I lose fats but not weight?

I'm a 35 yr old, 5' tall petite mother weighs 93lbs (under weight) with BMR of 1170. I've been eating clean (whole wheat, brown rice, chicken breast, etc) for 2 months now and working out in the gym 4 to 5 times a week. I do a lil bit of strength training (sit ups, plank, etc) and cardio with elliptical for 15mins. I can see that I've tone up around my arms, thighs, etc but my tummy and hips area is still squishy and cold to touch (fats under skin).

I don't wish to lose weight. I don't like looking skinny especially with my tiny wrist. I'm already under weight but I hate these fats on my tummy and hips. If I keep doing what I'm doing will Iose the tummy eventually?

    Thank you in advanced..

  • (FEMALE only) Help! white clumpy discharge?

I'm a 35 yr old married woman and a mom. I've had this white clumpy discharge for about 3 months now. Before this, I had clumpy discharge and then BV after period. I went to see my gynae and she gave me flagyl (aka metronidazole). I had BV again the next month. And I took another course of flagyl. Now I don't have BV anymore but I noticed that I've this tiny white clumpy stuff coming out ONLY during sex. It's white and clumpy. Not as much as before but it still comes out. It's odorless. I've read about yeast infection but I don't have pain or discomfort, no itch, no rash, it doesn't burn when I pee. I also noticed that it doesn't come out unless during sex or when I insert my finger to check. Could it be yeast? It doesn't bother me at all but I hate it when it's out during sexual intercourse. It's embarrassing. Thank you.

  • Thinking of migrating...but don't know how or where yet?

We are from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We are a middle income earner. I'm a stay-at-home mom. Hubby works and earns a pretty good income. We are doing fine here but we feel that we want to take things slower. Hubby usually works from 8am to 11pm. Even at home he'll be on his laptop. He has no choice, work is work. Academically is very challenging here. Luckily our kids are doing well in school. But it's very competitive here. We would love to take things slower. We've had enough of city life. We want to migrate to a different country where there are 4 seasons or at least cooler weather. A small quiet town, near a beach if possible (like Ireland, New Zealand, etc), where we can raise our little family and grow old.

But how do we do that?

*no silly answers please. Thank you.

  • BV and taking flagyl/metronidazole :( (ladies only)?

I had BV about a lil more than 2 weeks ago. I went to my gynae and she gave me 7 days course of metronidazole to be taken orally. I was all better the next day. But after my period now I'm having BV the 2nd time (2+ weeks later). I went to a GP (b'coz my gynae was busy) and she gave me 5 day course of metronidazole. I started taking it yesterday and BV doesn't seem to go away. How long would it take? Does that mean it's not working? Should I go see my gynae again or wait?

    Thank you in advance...

  • Contaminated pool water due to rat urine?

I went swimming recently and saw rats running into a bush near the pool like 2 feet away from the pool. I'm afraid if the rats had peed in the pool. Does chlorine help to eliminate leptospira bacteria (rat urine). I'm afraid of getting leptospirosis. But I'm well now. If it's possible to get leptospirosis from swimming in the pool, I rather not go there again.

    Thank you.

  • What do you call this sickness..I forgot it's name?

I came across an article about people who loves to touch unwilling strangers or maybe people they know. And he/she gets pleasure and satisfaction from just touching.

I've came across it once, but now I can't remember what it's called.

Once I was in a crowded bus and a guy sort of grope my butt when I turn to look, no one was looking at me. The person pretend to look away. So I don't know who grope me...but it was scary and sick.

  • My 5 yr old son loss this plush toy at school...?

His friend took it from his school bag and have not returned it for a couple of days now. Why do I feel depress? Why do I feel so sad? I know, I miss that plush toy too. It's a tiger and we got it in Singapore (Night Safari). My son have been so attach to it for about 3 months. He would hold it everyday, all the time. He took it to the cinema, vacation, etc. He always take it to his school too. He kept it in his school bag, until a child decided to take it from him. BUT why do I feel this way? I know it's not a living thing but I'm just so sad. I just want to back in our house... sigh.

  • 9 year old son with bad habit?

My 9 year old son kept saying "urgh" or "eeh" every few minutes. I'm starting to think there's something wrong with him. I told him many times to keep quiet, stop doing that, gently smacking his cheeks whenever he say that, etc. He has sinus. It started with him clearing his nose. But now I think it has become a habit. It's really getting on my nerves. He's normal as in he scores good results in his exams all A's maybe 1 B. He's one of top the top 10 in his class. So I don't think he has autism or ADHD.

But how do I make him stop his bad habit? Thank you.

  • Help! My 9 year old son is rebellious...?

Maybe it's not as bad to some of you, but to me it is...my 9 year old (actually 1 month shy of 9) doesn't listen to me, he talk back at me and we often argue, he doesn't want to study (he usually score A's), he does silly little things that he knows would piss me off, he has a bad temper, he pull face when I ask him to study, he's lazy (he doesn't make up his room), he kept losing things, he misplace a lot of things, etc.

I pray that I have patience to handle him everyday...my blood boils each time he pisses me off. What should I do, how should I punish him? I'm a stay at home mom and I hate the fact that he knows I'm always there for him. He doesn't do the same when his daddy's is around.

Is it the Tween age? Or is it just him? sigh

Serious answers only...I hate silly *** comments. thank you!
