Pretty stumped trying to get a TV for my media room. Price isn't a huge factor but I'm not looking to shell out an unreasonable amount either, possibly looking for something in the 1k-3.5k range, but I do value picture quality. I was pretty set on future proofing myself and getting a 4k display, but reviews say that the current content doesn't really take advantage of it so I was leaning towards Plasma. Do you think it's worth getting a plasma right now? Especially since manufactures are going away from plasmas, it might become an issue when it comes to warranty in the future. If not those two, do you think I should stick with a regular 1080p LED display? Any specific suggestions would be appreciated as well, thanks.

PS4 looks slightly better on paper spec-wise but I hear people saying not to sleep on the One, which supposedly has more features than the 4. I'm not into the platform exclusives so it's not a factor. PS4 is a 100 bucks cheaper and supposedly has better graphics than what the One puts out, so I'm swaying towards that right now. Also, it's probably impossible to get one by the holidays but does anyone know where I can get my name on a list to get one of the systems as of right now?

Being a guy, when I was younger I used to think that girls were sweet and nice all the time while guys were mean and rude. I'm a lot older now with a lot more social experience and I can honestly say I couldn't have been more wrong. I've seen just how fake girls are, acting nice around guys then trashing him the second he turns around. If they're into him they treat him like the center of their world, if not then they wouldn't give him the time of day and quickly put him down. Am I just around the wrong type of girls or are everyone like this? Thoughts.

Backed my car into a pole and scraped up the wheel well and rear bumper a bit. Took it to a autobody who quoted me 500 bucks for repair and said leaving it as it would cause rusting. Is that even possible? Also when I told him I could live with just painting over the scrapes he said it would rust regardless.

Braun just got nailed by MLB with a 65 game suspension w/o pay. He still most likely gets a $100 million dollar contract when his old one his up. Melky Cabrera of the Blue Jays tested positive for PEDs, served his suspension, still got a World Series ring and oh yea then got a 2-yr 16 million dollar contract. Are players really worried about the risk if the rewards can be that great? Should baseball make the punishment more harsher? How would they be able to account for teams rigging foods with these banned substances to try to get out of a bad contract?
