I'm about to start working over there and someone I know told me about this. I'm a bit skeptical and its not mentioned in my contract, but I don't really know anything about employment law, especially if it relates to working abroad.

My computer is running a bit slow. I have Vista Business, with 3GB of RAM, but I feel I have too many unnecessary things like outlook, windows contacts and windows fax and scan.

These don't come up under the list of programmes to uninstall, but surely there is a way, no?

My system properties says I have 4.00 GB of RAM, yet the windows task manager says my total physical memory is 3061MB. What's wrong?

My laptop had initially 2GB of RAM, which I quickly upgraded to 3GB. I noticed the total physical memory was 3061 MB at this point, which makes sense. I've just replaced the other RAM card and should have 4GB, which is what the system properties say, but the windows task manager still says my total physical memory is 3061 MB.

I don't suppose it makes a difference, but the computer is a toshiba satellite pro U300.

If you go far enough under water, the pressure is so immense that you need a special diver's costume.

Some watches are water resistant to 200m or more, and they have buttons - do all the buttons get pressed in at these depths, or does it allow some water in behind the buttons to equalise the pressure?
