I would like to know if you broke off your engagement. What where your reasons to do so?

Did you regret it later of thankful you broke it off?

I am struggling with this decision because my fiance broke my trust and broke a promise to me that meant the world to me. We have been together 4 years, engaged 4 months, and I don't know if I can trust him again. I have never been married and he is promising to do what ever it takes to gain my trust back.

I need to know if I go to HR!!

I have been working at my company for close to two years. I have mastered everything that has come my way and have a pretty good reputation with the higher ups'. I have also been told I have promotion waiting for me at the end of summer after I graduate. Here is the drama.... A new girl started about 2-3 months ago and she shares my office after I leave for the day. First, she was really messy, then started to throw my notes away, go through my drawers and remove my things and put her stuff in it's place. (this is my office and my boss allows her to be there only when I am gone) She even has gone into my personal voicemail and erased messages from my saved box that were for me only. These messages were needed the next day for me to return important calls. All gone. I went to my Director and explained what has happened so far. So I took it upon myself to be the mature person and approach the girl and let her know we are here to work together as a team, so lets just start with a clean slate. She agreed. Well, here is the issue that is so messed up!! A different co-worker came up to me today and informed me that when she walked in on this girl the other day, this girl had pulled up my old arrest record from over 12 years ago. She was looking at my picture (plus she was in her managers office doing this) and sharing it with the co-worker that told me about this. It was my arrest record, and I have never been convicted. I was arrested for something stupid but never charged. My company did a background check on me when I first began. I also brought the record to my Director and H.R. in the first week I began so I would not hide anything or have it bite me in the butt later. I can not tell you how pissed off I am. What else is this girl going to do to me? This girl also has been caught by me trying to lie on her timesheet and try to increase her pay by 3 hours. There is something very wrong about this girl. If she is so negative and hateful towards me for no reason, well, this makes me so uncomfortable.. Is this a valid reason to go back to my Director and HR??? (I don't want to look like a narc, but this is pretty personal.) Please I need urgent advice. Please help, what would you do and who should I talk to?? I want to be as professional as I can be. One other thing, the arrest record is public record in the state of Florida. So is this still a violation of some kind because this happened in the work place??

He has always told me everyday how much he loves me, he always wants to make me happy no matter what. He has been kind to me and a gentleman for the last few years. And stupid me....I fell for it. He was drinking this past weekend and he came into the living room and out of the blue he tells me this...."You are a whore, you were a whore when I met you, your a whore now, and you will always be a whore!" We weren't even in a heated argument. I was completely blindsided by this. I haven't spoke to him in 3 days. I can't breathe when I think about it. I am beyond hurt. This is the first man I actually have been honest with and have let him in my personal life. He keeps calling my cell and leaving me messages of how sorry he is and he didn't mean it. I don't know what to do because the pain of this is unbearable. Not only does this comment let me know what he thinks of me, but it shows me disrespect. No one has ever said anything so hurtful to me ever.He has sent me flowers and is begging me for forgiveness, he has even been crying. What would you do if you were me? Remember, we live together but I am not sure I can get past this and forgive.

I just put 20" wheels/tires on my 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. I want to lower the car now and would like suggestions of possible damage to car, engine, suspension or any part of car. Any ideas for price and product to lower car safely would be helpful as well. thank you.

I want to put universal Zinik rims on my car. I have 16" wheels and tires now and am afraid it will rub too much or will cause damage. My car is in mint condition and have heard good and bad stories about putting rims on your car. Any suggestions or comments?? Thanks!

My puppy is 6 months old and ever since I got her fixed about 1 month ago she has very strange behavior. She is so much more hyper, never wants to go to the bathroom outside, and has been dry humping my leg every chance she gets. What is going on?? She is female!!!! Do you know why she would do this? Has your dog showed you strange behavior after she has been spayed?? Thanks.

I have a chihuahua I have had since she was 3 months old and she is very docile and sweet. She has her menstrual cycle and last night I tried to put her in her cage (she never fights me on this). She tried to bite me so I slammed the cage shut before she could. Then she came up to the edge of the cage and was growling at me and was very mean. I have never seen her like this...EVER. Not even with other dogs. I just got a puppy about 4 months ago and they get along great with no issues. Why would my dog do this?? I so not trust her now and do not understand the sudden change in behavior. I had just finished loving her and petting her before bedtime and this is just terrible. I cried....my feelings were really hurt by seeing her act this way. Any suggestions????

It was built in 2004 in Florida. It is a two story townhome with 1600 sq. feet of living space. It is 3 bedroom and 2 1/2 baths. All new carpet, new appliances, and tile throughout. It is very very clean. I am curious what an average market price would be on something like this?? Any ideas?? I just want to see if the price I was told was correct. (189,800) Too much, too little, or about right??

Any stories on owner financing or actually being successful with the rent to own program would be the information I am looking for.

I am considering purchasing a townhome with rent to own terms. They are as follows: Put down 1st, last, and security deposit. Sign one year lease and the money I pay in that year, 10-20% of it will be used as a downpayment for the house. I understand the housing market is very bad right now. I want to know if more and more homeowners are selling their property in this fashion. Thanks for all you input. Any additional suggestions or advice is nice too!

I always see men with what looks like some type of camera and signs that say "survey crew" and I am wondering what do they do and what type of company do they work for??

The receptionist at my dentist office told me I need to whiten my teeth (which I want) before I get cavities filled. I have heard Zoom Whitening makes your teeth sensitive, however, she said get them whitened first so when they do the fillings, they are the correct color of my new white teeth. Any one have to do this?? Any experiences shared would be real helpful!
