  • What do you think about the Filson line of watches made by Shinola?

Since Shinola has discontinued the FIlson line of watches you either have to purchase second hand from someone on Ebay or an individual. I have a friend that has one and is very pleased so I thought about getting one. However I have heard mixed reviews about Shinola. And Advice?

  • Just started working for UPS as a preloader! But what gloves should I use?!?

So ive recently been trying to find a pair of gloves that work for when im preloading UPS cars for delivery. The issue that im running into is that none of the gloves I have tried allow for you to use your fingertips to move a label to another side of the box. I always end up taking them off and having to use my bare hands since I have to get my fingernail up under the label to get it off the box. I have tried Maxiflex Gloves(Which a lot of the drivers use; they fit pretty good and skin tight but not good enough), and basic nitrile examination gloves like the ones used by dentists and so forth. All I need is a pair that has the finesse to scratch up a label and move it.

If anyone has any ideas or knows what to use please let me know!!

  • Just got invited to interview with Union Pacific! Need advice!?

So I have had applications pending with Union Pacific (Train Crew) for a year or so now. I finally got asked to test online the other day and got invited to an interview next month. I live in Arkansas and the job will be in Bloomington, TX. Will the job allow me to work and then travel home? Or will I have to relocate altogether....

I need quick answers as I have a small window to respond to the interview invite!

Thanks and have a good one!

  • Port Wine Stain on chest. But what about this lump?

So I was born with a port wine stain that s partly on my face and goes down to the upper part of my chest. As everyone knows, the blood vessels are very close the surface of the skin so in turn if you get cut it will bleed a lot. However just recently a type of lump/scab has came up in the middle of the stain. It doesn t hurt or anything but when I accidentally pick it off it bleeds like hell. Is there any way to freeze or burn this off? Basically just annoys me.

  • Glock holster to hard to draw pistol out of! Any fix?!?

I just recently purchased a Glock 19 Gen4. I also purchased the Glock Sport/Combat Holster that Glock sells. The handgun fits very snugly but is hard to draw without putting other hand on holster to hold it down while drawing. If i can get this fixed i will be concealing this holster. Glock says that it s made to conceal. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

  • How long should it take for Dicyclomine(Bentyl) to work?

I recently went to the Dr. for having diarrhea flare ups with no correlation on certain foods that might be causing it. I have been setup for an appointment with a local gastroenterologist but won't be able to see him till February. In the mean time my family doc perscribed my Dicyclomine to slow down my digestion. I was instructed to take 4 pills(10mg), one before every meal and one before bed. My question is, how long does this drug take to work? It's going on the second day of taking it and I'm still going 4-5 times a day. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

    John

  • if you have a 9ft 5x monofilament leader for trout, can you use 6x tippet?

I ve gotten different answers from different people on this matter. And I know you chose a different tippet size due to your leader and due to the conditions(how clear the water is). But say if I tie a brand new 9ft 5x leader on my fly line. And after removing and tying new flys on and it s time for tippet, should I replace it with 5x since that is what my leader is? Or with 6x or 7x? One guide I ran into at a fly shop said that I should take the brand new 5x leader, cut the tippet portion off and replace it with 6x flurocarbon. So what do you think??

  • Are "clip in" pedals and shoes effective for mountain biking?

I just recently got into mountain biking and bought my friends Gary fisher which is in the shop getting new shocks, tires, tune up, etc....should I look into buying clip-in pedals and shoes? Some of the people I see online don't even use them, but then there are some that do? Keep in mind I'm still new to all this but if like to know up front of this is something I need to invest $100-$150 in.

  • Does the Tohatsu MFS 20c Power Tilt outboard not have a reverse lock release or break away system of some sort?

My dad just recently purchased this outboard from our local shop and I cant seem to find a lock release of some sort in case of hitting an obstacle under water. I called the shop and they said is has an impact sensor with some sort of "hydraulic release" system and the the tohatsu power tilt motors don't have a manual lock release lever. I duck hunt so Am I going to have to purchase a break away plate of some sort? How good is this hydraulic release system?

  • How to rebuild front hub assembly on 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500?

The front left wheel bearing has gone out on my silverado 1500. Instead of buying the while hub assembly which would be easier, is there any way just to take it apart and replace the burnt out bearing?

Please be detailed in your response,

    Thanks, John

  • Small bumps inside lower lip?

Have had these come up now and then. They don't bother me at all. And the only time I notice them is when I put my tongue down there and feel around. They are movable, painless, and I'm just as curious as to what they are? Some people are saying they are plugged salivary ducts? There's about like 4-6 of them on the right lower lip area...

  • If I am using a 5x taperd leader is it ok to attach a 6x or a 7x tippet?

I have been fly fishing for about 2 years now and have always wonderd, If I am using a 5x taperd leader is it ok to attach a 6x or a 7x tippet? I know you can replace the tippet material of the original leader with 5x since the leader is 5x. But I have always heard that when you are fishing clearer/slower water you need to use a finer tippet. In this case 6x or 7x.
