So my mom bought me tampons, and she put them where her supply is because half is for her the other half is for me because it's different absorbency. Anyways I asked her if I should use them for dance and she said just use liners because you only really use tampons if you have a heavier flow... So I want to bring some to my camp just I case I get my period but idk if I should just take them or should I ask her if I should take them ?? the box hasn't been opened yet so she will be able to see if I used them also should I tell/ask her before using it or not?? It's also that it feels awkward to open the tmpon box so then she knows I tried it with out her knowing ... So what should I do??

Ok so I m going to an acro workshop I think I m gonna get my period then, my mom said I should wear liners and change them more frequently... How frequently should I change them?? My flow is regular and light!.... Should it be like 2 hours or 1 hour?

So I m 13 and well my mom said I can use tampons and she brought the topic up we went out and got them together but now I am going to an acro workshop where I want to wear tampons but I m scared because I never have.. Will it hurt to put it in is it uncomfortable does it hurt to take it out ect. I want to be able to ask my mom this stuff, but inalso want to ask her if I should even wear a tampon, but I don t know how to start the convo, I know what I want to say, "hey mom so I think I m gonna start my period at the acro worksho, and I was wondering if I should wear tampons or pads, then I would get in to reasonings but I always seem to chicken out, is there a better way to start the conversation, and I don t want to leave a note or message her.. Btw this is my 7th cycle!

So I need to talk to my mom about using tampons and all that jazz.. I don t know how to start the conversation and not make it awkward??

I haven't started using respond yet I will but not yet, I'm going to an acro workshop so I was wondering will people be able to tel in wearing a pad through tight shorts?? Also we will be doing splits will I leak or something stretching for splits?? And also we will be doing back hmadsprings and aerials will I leak or should i just get over the fear of asking my mom these questions then ask her if I could use a tampon instead??

It is my first time using a tampon, im going to a damce workshop from 10-3 and it takes 45 minutes to get there and home sominwould be leaving it in for about 6 1/2 hours, is that ok or should i try to change it before? Its also the lightest absorbancy of the playtex gentle glide 360

So i am going to wear tampons for my first time if i get my period at a dance workshop/camp.. anyways i will be away from home and with my grandma, so should i tell my mom i am going to try them out then or should i just try them out and tell her afterwards???

Ok so my mom just got me tampons my first ever, they are the players gentle guide 360 light and regular pack, anyways I am a dancer like I do acro, jazz, ballet, and I'm going to a acro workshop (acro is dance+gymnastics/tumbling) anyways are those tampons good for dance preferably acro, I think I'm getting my period at the acro workshop so I just want to be prepared!

Ok so my mom told me i could start wearing tampons and she showed me how to use them and all ( even though i already knew) and she said we wwill go to the store and get some that are eaiser to slide in like better applicaters, anyways its been like 2 weeks and she has t taken me yet and i want to confront her and ask if we can go look because im going to a workshop soon its dance and i thunk im going to get my period then and i HATE pads.. I knew what i wanted to say but i coulndt say it...i dont want to text her or leave a note but how can i confront her and actually ask to get me tampons??

My mom always yells at me telling me all this **** about me that bad and negative so how can i be the perfect daughter to because clearly she hates me for e me and wants a perfect daughter not me who is the mistake??

This is my 4th cycle, and i got my period for 2 days, then it stopped on the 3rd day , and came back on the 4th day... is that normal??

So i'm 13 and have had my period since i was 12and a half, i'm also a competitive dancer, and love to swim, my mom showed me how to put tampons in and all but we are going to go out and get dome and i was wondering what are the best tampons for beginners my age who dance all day long??

Ok so I'm 13, I got my period on 7th grade at the end of the year so this is my 5th cycle, and I have worn a tampon once to go swimming and once at a dress rehearsal at dance, my mom doesn't know I'm to scared to tell her or ask if I even can wear them, anyways now when ever I try to wear a tampon for dance I put it in and right before I leave I change to a pad because I don't like taking them out because i don't want it to expand because I feel it will hurt to come out... And I do acro competition so I kind of need to wear tampons... ANYWAYS... How should I ask my mom to buy me tampons(it's already hard enough to ask just for pads), and how can I get over my weird fear to keep a tampon in longer then 5 minutes and actually use them to dance and swim and all that???
