Last October I had stools that were bloody and diarrhea. I went to see a gastroenterologist who preformed a colonoscopy. He diagnosed me with ulcerative colitis gave me a prescription and a diet I was to follow, I had to follow-up with him in 1 month. My follow-up appointment was in December and I took my husband with me. I couldn't swallow and was choking on the medicine plus I told him I was now just bleeding like a menstrual cycle but in the anus. He yelled at me because I stopped taking the meds and sent me on my merry way. I had not been able to eat anything for almost a week but he didn't seem to care. A couple days later I had my first appointment with my rheumatologist, she took 1 look at me and said do you want to go to the hospital now or tomorrow morning, I chose the later. I was admitted to the hospital and given an IV and some meds. My gastro Dr came and gave me an endoscopy but yelled at me why I had not told him this was going on, the endoscopy came back I had severe stomatitis(thrush). I was put on a feeding tube but I was still bleeding internally. My gastro Dr did not come back till 2 days later he walked into my room asked how I felt than left. Later a nurse told me he all he talked about was his wife was leaving him, he didn't order any tests or meds and only glanced at my chart. That was the last time I saw him and I was there for a week. I was given 4 pints of blood and plasma. My PCP and rheumatologist had to ask another t to take a look at me. We never did discover why I was bleedinginternallyy. I have not seen my gastro Dr since, I feel if I had not went to my rheumatologist appointment I would not be here today. So should I sue him or not? As I have a medical background I know from other patient experience that when you sue a Dr other Dr's are sometimes scared to take you on as a patient.

I bought my dog at a pet store not realizing that a lot of them support puppy mills. My dog a teacup chihuahua(2 pounds) always looked emaciated, you could feel his ribs and spine even though he ate a lot. He was tested for the heart worms and all other normal tests everything came back good. We never knew what was wrong why he didn't gian any weight we even had him neutered hoping that would help but it didn't. Two weeks ago e started having blood in his stool and couldn't keep water down. He was still able to walk around and jump up on the couch but as he was so little I worried about dehydration. I took him to our vet even though I had no money they saw him. They told me the gave him an injection to stop the diarrhea and vomiting plus fluids.They were concerned about his temperature as it was low. They had me take him home with some medicine and nutrical and instructions to keep him warm. When I got him back he couldn't hold his head up he was like a limp doll later that evening he had seizures and 1 was real bad he was barely breathing. We rushed him to an ER vet who told me that he had a low heartbeat aw well as breathing, they could preform CPR on him but only gave him a 10% chance to live. I made the decision to have him put down. He was only 3 years old and my companion, I miss him a lot but have questions on what could have made him so sick so fast. We have a fenced in backyard and I always went out with him so I know he wasn't poisoned. If anyone has any idea can you let me know. Please do not respond if you just want to harp on me because he was a puppy mill puppy. All animals need love just like people and it shouldn't be held against them.

I am planning on going home to PA to visit my family this summer and I want to take my dog with me. I know i have to pay for him and keep him in a crate. I plan on making him my carry on, since he is only 2 pounds and shakes when nervous. I read somwhere that if the temp gets up to 85 anywhere my plane goes they won't let him on is that correct, even though he will be with me in the cabin.? I don't want to leave him home with my husband for 2 weeks because just before Xmas I was in the hospital for 1 week and my husband told me he wouldn't eat or drink. When I got home he became my shadow and still is to this day. With him only weighing 2 pounds he can't afford to miss 2 weeks of food. He is a teacup chihuahuia and any help would be appreciative since this will be my first time home in 2 years.

My son who just turned 18 was planning on joining the Army National Guard, till he went to a friend's grad party and got in a car where they were smoking marijuana. He failed his drug test and was told he had to wait 45 days before going back to MEPS to do the test again. This was all in Pennsylvania where I let him stay to graduate with friends while I moved to Texas. I had already bought him his plane ticket to Texas so I could see him the ticket I bought was his 45 th day. I told him we would transfer it all down here to Texas. Texas recruiter is now saying he can't join because he failed the test. I am totally confused why 1 state say ok while another says no. He made a mistake by crawling in that car but we all make mistakes if we didn't we would be robots. My son does not use drugs he was just had a stupid moment. Can anyone help me/my son and tell us what we can do?

i bounced 1 check and my landlord wants to charge me the amount , the late fee, bounced check fee, and a re-issue of lease fee and if u heard of it how does it work does it mean my lease is null and void and a new one needs drawn up i am asking because my landlord has had a sheriff sale sign on my place and i have had a note from his ex sayin they are 3 months behind the mortage all this and i just movved in here in july plus things he said he would fix has not happened and if i need a new lease i want this in there

my husband who is mexican and our youngest son and of course myself which is white are thinkin of movin to ssan antonio we need to know some good places to rent and to live my son is very nervous because he has been picked on because of his race both here in pa and mexico hes has had to deal with racist people and i do not want to move him again to deal with that which is why we chose san antonio we hope it will be better for him he is only 11 y/o and is on psychotic medicine and did time in a mental hospital because of the racism i hope people will respond and let us know where to look to live i want to see him smile again and play with kids his age instead of being afraid to go out and play also can u tell me what your weather is like year round i have arthritis and pa sucks for people like us thank you to anyone who responds

I am trying to plan a trip to Pittsburgh with my kids. We want to go to Kennywood, the zoo, and the science museum. I need to find cheap but good accomadations and tickets. I am planning this for July 6-8. I need hotels for handicap people and my kids want a pool of course. I want this to be fun and unstressful. My kids are 15 and 10 and my 15 year old this will probally be his last vacation with us as a family he will be 16 soon and will get a job soon. Please help a family in need of a serious vacation. I am also disabled with fibromyalgia so I tire easily and have problems with walking and my back. My kids and I have not been on vacation for 3 years since my brother died. We have had alot of deaths my brother, father and both my grandparents all within 3 years time. My kids need to see fun to have a good time and not worry all the time as they do about me. My kids are always worried about me but I want to show them we can still have fun and they need not worry.

MY MOTHER'S CAT HAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH IT. HER BACK END ON TOP HER FUR IS MAJORLY MATTED AND IT IS SPREADING. SHE DOES NOT LIKE ANYONE TO TOUCH IT AND IT HAS A SLIGHT DIFFERENT COLOR TO IT. My older son came home today and said he was not going back to that racist school ever, I asked him what happenned, he said the kids are calling him racist names such as **** and *******. My son is all white we lived in Mexico for 3 months and because of that he is a ****. They also were saying things about his teeth because they are bucked teeth and do not touch his mouth cause you will get rabies. My older son is a big kid he is 5 feet 9 and weighs 190 not small by any means yet he came home today and was crying my son does not cry this worries me. It worries me because his little brother who is half american and mexican just got out of the mental ward because he wanted to kill himself over the racist remarks he gets and the kids making fun of his race. He is only in 5th grade yet this is happening in the school and on the bus. What should I do my kids are being emtionally abused and no really cares

Hi I have recently been diagnosed with firbromyalgia, spondylarthropathy, reactive arthritis, and elevated sed rate. I have to travel 2 hours to Pittsburgh to see a rheumatologist who now is telling me his office is being closed and he is not sure where he will be after June. I have sucky insurance because i can not work with all this going on so now what am i to do. I have been suffering for 4 years with no one believing me of what i am going through i find someone and now he will be gone too. I wish i had support through this but my husband does not understand this disease or he choose not to believe me. I am actually thinking of divorcing him due to this. I need someone to talk to right now my life is a mess i live with my mother because i only get $400 a month from welfare. I have 2 kids and one is having mental problems had has to go to a lot of appoinments because he has thoughts of suicide and he is only ten. Can anyone talk to me or give me some help on what i should do. please

My son is 10 y.o. and he wrote on a paper kill me at school the school found it and has suggested he seek crisis before he returns to school. my son has anger issues he has puched walls and doors. i took him to the hospital and now he is on a waiting list to be admitted this is his first incident at school he just started in Nov. and he hates his school he feels he is being picked upon because of his race and other things I do not know if i should have him admitted or not I do not want him more depressed than he already is and at the hospital he will be in lock down and i can only visit him 2 hours a day we are trying outpatient help too but that is even a longer wait we are not even being seen till 4/10/07 for just an intake i want him to feel better about himself do you think it would be best to put him in the hospital so they can at least stablize him miniumin stay is 3 days

I have been tested and probed and run through the mill can anyone help me. I tested positive to HLA-B27 and my arthritis doctor said i had ankylosing spondylitis and put me on medication for this. I have had iritis 3 times in my eyes and now have a small glaucoma forming due to this. I have days were i can hardly stand let alone walk. I have gianed weight due to not being able to do normal things. My insurance changed about 1 month ago and had to go to piittsburgh due to my doctor does not take my insurance. the guy in pitt said i have fibromyalgia, spondylitis arthritis, osteoporsis, and IBS. Which one is right I have searched the internet on both and some things fit with one and not the other and vice versa. The doctor down in pitt can not explain my iritis which is not a symptom of fibromyalgia. I can not work due to me not knowing what days are good and what are bad I have filed for disability but have had to appeal because of my age--36. can anyone help me figure this out

I am a proud new owner of a 14 week long haired Chi. i did not know anything about the difference between the APR, AKC, or CKC. I have sinced did my homework, i do have his pedigree and the only other registration besides his are his mom and dad which are APR. Can i register him with someone else, i bought him at a pet store, if i can't it is okay because i love him but i have been asked by many if i am going to breed him. this is my first Chi so i do not know much about them. can someone give me some info on their breed or registration.
