I am twenty-five years old with a husband and one son. I am a Citizen Band Potawatomi and interested in meeting other Potawatomis. In addition, I am interested in handwork or crafts, languages (I speak German) and reading.

  • My cat meows all night...?

He has just started this behaviour. He is about two years old, maybe, and generally a very sweet (if possessed of a rather active imagination) little kitty. He is neutered. We recently moved house, in with my parents, and he is terrified of them. I thought maybe that was the problem, but he just hides during the day, and then, when they are in bed, begins meowing all night. He's got food and water and a clean box. I give him lots of attention - when he'll have it - and play with him. Any ideas?

  • Sims 2 Downloads?

I've downloaded and installed a Sims 2 house from Parsimonious, but it's crashing the game (I think). How do I get rid of the house?

  • Ants in the house?

I've got ants in the kitchen, ever since the weather has warmed significantly. The landlady says it isn't her responsibility to pay for an exterminator, so we're trying to do our best by keeping the kitchen spotless and arming ourselves with a can of spray. There are ant hills all over the garden. I don't see them elsewhere in the house, nor can I determine where they are coming in. Unfortunately, I'm having a good deal of trouble keeping up with them (and the water bugs). Any suggestions?

  • Alcoholic Allergy?

Sometimes, I have what seems to be an allergic reaction when consuming an alcoholic drink. I can't seem to track it down - many (though not all) hard liquors cause the reaction, very few beers, and some (half, I guess) wines do, as well. My skin turns sort of blotchy and red, but not flushed, as does any part of my skin that touches anything else - a seam of my clothing, the elbows that rested on the table, and so on. It feels like sunburn. I have no other effects, such as shortness of breath or swelling of the throat, so I cannot imagine what causes this. Any ideas?

  • Counting the people?

In the Bible, doesn't it say something about numbering the people? I can't find it anywhere, but I'm sure I've heard it, so if anyone knows and could tell me, I'd be grateful.

  • Skin Problems?

I've got super dry skin that breaks out really easily. As a teenager, I had super good skin, especially while I was on the pill. Now I've been off it for a year and a half, and my skin just seems to get worse. I do wash it every night, but then have to rub in lotion to counteract the dryness (and it isn't always enough). Any ideas?

  • Mozilla Firefox?

I opened Firefox today (sometime midday) and found that it had returned to a generic-looking browser and that my bookmarks had disappeared. The homepage was reset to Google's Firefox, like when Firefox updates. I haven't backed up my bookmarks in a while - is there an automatic backup somewhere? Help!

  • Does Jack Straw really have problems with tinnitus?

MP Jack Straw was reported to have issues with his hearing, and that might have been why he asked Muslim women to remove their niqab. Does anyone know if this is true?

  • I have a crack in the sidewalk that cannot be rid of weeds with any amount of pulling. Ideas?

The weeds are mostly dead at the root, and it's prairie grass, which is notoriously tough. I've tried pulling, digging as best I can, boiling water, even burning, and nothing works, so I may have to resort to chemicals.
