Queen of the Night

Three relatives (all sisters) have recently been diagnosed with this distressing condition. All are between 17 and 21, and all have been told they will go blind in the next few years.

It is a rare and little known condition and this is an appeal to anyone out there who can help with advice or information.

I have done the usual internet searches, so please don't send me those. I really need contact from people who are connected to someone with the condition, or medical professionals with more specific information.

I have been told that there is a book out on the above subject, which also details the detriments of not drinking enough water. I believe it was published a couple of years ago. 10 points to first person giving me enough information to enable me to find the book.

You know the type of thing - misheard lyrics that end up being quite amusing,

e.g. from Jimi Hendrix "excuse me while I kiss this guy" instead of "while I kiss the sky"

or Paul Young "every time you go away, you take a piece of meat with you" instead of "piece of me with you".

You get the idea. Ten points for the one that amuses me the most.

He's a singer, songwriter and his music is played as backing to programmes such as Scrubs and Smallville. I'd like to know if he has released a CD, and if so, where I can get it from.

I understand how to get points, but how do the different levels work? How do you rate answers, and what do the ratings mean? If asking questions takes you below a certain number do you drop a level? etc, etc.

I am specifically looking for information on the Sisters of Mercy, particularly in St Jospeh's Industrial School in Clifden, from the late 1940s up to the late 1960s, but any other relevant information would be welcome.
