  • FF playoffs - QB trouble- Help?

Matt Ryan has been my QB (home against NO). Maybe he's back?

    I also have:

    Orton at Indy

    Cassel home against Buffalo

    I can get:

    Gradkowski at home w/ Washington

    Henne at Jacksonville

Who do you go with? I'm thinking about making a bold move and getting Gradkowski?

  • what do you think of this trade? f. football?

    My team:

    QB - M. Ryan

    RB - S. Jackson

    RB - P. Thomas

    WR - DeSean Jackson

    WR - St. Smith (NYG)

    TE - Celek

    Bench

    Calvin Johnson

    Kevin Walter

    Santana Moss

    Marshawn Llynch

    Mike Bell

    Ricky Williams

    Vernon Davis

After much negotiations we have agreed on the following:

I give V. Davis, Pierre & Santana Moss for Frank Gore and Housh.

    Housh/Moss is a lateral move

I think Gore is an upgrade from all my B flight RBs. Pierre has too much time share going on.

I don't like having two Eagles but I can live with it.

    Your thoughts?

  • trade offer- which is to my greater advantage?

    MY Team:

QB - Matt Ryan & Stafford

WR- Calvin Johnson, St. Smith (NYG), Santan Moss, K. Walter

RB- Pierre Thomas, St. Jackson, Marshawn Llynch, Ricky Williams, J. Stewart and Mike Bell

    TE- Vernon Davis, Brent Celek.

We start 2 WR & RB, 1 TE no flex

I have an owner willing to trade M. Turner (he's 0-4 and wants to shake up)

I have offered S. Jackson & S. Moss for Turner

    and

St. Jackson, Moss & Jonathan Stewart for Jennings & Turner

    Thoughts on these offers...

  • Trade question - fantasy football?

    My Team:

QB - Matt Ryan, Matt Stafford

WR- Calvin Johnson, St. Smith (NYG) Santana Moss, K. Walters

RB- St. Jackson, Pierre Thomas, Marshawn Llynch, Ricky Williams, Mike Bell, Jonathan Stewart

    TE- Brent Celek, Vernon Davis

I was offered Frank Gore and Fred Jackson for Pierre Thomas & Vernon Davis.

I think its a little steep and countered with St. Jackson, Vernon Davis and Santana Moss for Gore & Jackson.

Thoughts on either combo? We only start 2 at RB & WR, 1 TE, no flex

  • Adding a WR- would you?

This is not a "who do I start question"

We start two WRs. My bench is:

    Calvin Johnson

    Santana Moss

    Kevin Walter

    Torry Holt

    Chansi Stuckey

Does it strengthen my bench to add Steve Smith (Giants) or Lance Moore? Which do you add and who do you cut?

    4 AnswersFantasy Sports1 decade ago
  • Adding a WR, what do you think?

    We start 2 WR

Calvin Johnson is a must start

the rest of my bench is-

    Santana Moss

    Kevin Walter

    Chansi Stuckey &

    Torry Holt

Does anyone like the idea of cutting Holt and adding Steve Smith of the Giants?

  • which two RBs to start?

    Steven Jackson, STL

    Jonathan Stewart, CAR

    Mike Bell, NO

    Ricky Williams, MIA

    Pierre Thomas, NO

    Marshawn Llynch is still out...

Bell was a great spot start last week. Would you play him again? Philly's D looked pretty good and Pierre might siphon off some runs while he gets up to speed.

Stewart plays Atlanta, should he have a better game this week?

    3 AnswersFantasy Sports1 decade ago
  • RB2- I need your opinon please?

    Steven Jackson is my RB1

With Pierre Thomas highly doubtful for this week, do i-

Start Mike Bell (against detroit) or go with Jonathan Stewart (eagles)?

  • the ubiquitous, rate my team?

    12 team league

    Matt Ryan - qb

    Calvin Johnson - wr

    Kevin Walter - wr

    Steven Jackson - rb

    Pierre Thomas - rb

    Zach Miller - te

    Gould - k

    Minn - Def

    Bench

    Santana Moss - wr

    Tory Holt - wr

    Chris Chambers -wr

    Jonathan Stewart - rb

    Marshawn Lynch -rb

    Ricky Williams - rb

    LeRon McClain - rb

    M. Stafford - qb

McClain was a mistake at his draft position. I forgot he'd been moved to fullback.

    draft grade?

  • Drafting at #7. would you?

Take Larry Fitzgerald in the first round?

he's project as the 7th best player accoridng to Yahoo. Effectively you would be bypassing LdT, Frank Gore and Steven Jackson if I didnt follow conventional wisdom and take a RB in the first round.

If draft falls according to player ranking (and they rarely do) my team might look like this:

    Fitzgerald

    Marion Barber

    Kevin Smith

Best available QB (i'd love to see Mcnabb last til here)

    D. Ward/ L. White/D. Mc Fadden

I would also have Tim Hightower according to our keeper rules.

    Is this a sound strategy?

  • What would you do? please read thoroughly...?

I work for an small firm. My boss is the principal, I am a senior employee though not a partner. I have worked here 10 years. We have a good relationship that I'd like to continue, but I not interested in getting hurt either.

A few years ago we built a new office facility for ourselves incorporated as a seperate business entity. I have a 20% stake in this corporation. My boss has 60% and another senior staffer the other %20. This building was built primarily with borrowed monies, either from the bank or from the business.

We are 3 years into our mortgage. Couple that with the drop in real estate value, we probably have little equity. Although, I'm sure the building would break even if we had too sell, even now.

The business is pursuing a line of credit. I have been informed that I will need to sign some paperwork regarding this line of credit.

To me this seems strange. Why is the bank liening on the real estate company when the business needs the line of credit.

Should I go along? I could reason that without the business I lose my stake in the real estate anyway. Should I hold my ground and try and keep them seperate? Should I negotiate some gain for putting my shares in the real estate company at risk, mortgaging them to the business?

We know some in Philly are upset since Dawkins has left. Will the Broncos trading Cutler create a disproportionately larger upset fanbase?

I am thinking revolver for the second gun, probably chambered in .357 I don't want to spend $1000 either.

the local shop has lots of Taurus and S&W, but I haven't looked close.

  • four TVs have failed- any ideas?

Seems as though something strange is happening.

My wife and I built a house 10 years ago. When we moved in we had a console type TV from her parents. It was older but worked fine. After a couple of years it failed and we repaired it. It worked for a while until it failed again and we replaced it. We just figured it was old-

Our new TV worked for several years until it failed. Rather than repair we replaced. We just figured TVs don't last as long as they used to.

We replaced it with a refurbished TV from a department store reseller. This TV lasted about a year or so. We figured it was a bad thing to buy a refurbished TV.

In the interim, we dug out a small Sony 13" TV and put it in the Living Room for the kids to watch before school. This TV failed after 2 mos.

These TVs have always been plugged into a surge protector at the same location. Could some sort of "dirty" power be killing the TVs in this location.

I have an LCD TV in my bedroom and a projection in the family room - these TVs are fine. The projection TV is plugged into a premium surge protector. No other equipment has failed.

    Anybody with any ideas?
