A great many young people are getting paranoid for no good reason. Antibiotics are used for many infections, including sinus, lower respiratory and ear infections. How many people out there ARE feeling more than a little paranoid? Why?

popping into my mind due to weird "coincidences" that are more than astounding. This guy had a crush on me years ago. I found out he became involved with a woman whose birthday is the same month as mine, has the same name as my father, works in the same field as my father, went to same schools as I did, and even a psychic told me about his presence in my life. He gave me the initial of his name, his coloring, his educational background and personal habits and then told me he would always be a part of my life.

Long story, short version: The very first time I laid eyes on him, I was hooked. At the time, I was involved with someone else against my will and he was fiercely jealous. To avoid physical violence (yeah, he was one of those wife beaters), I chose to be friends with his friend rather than outwardly showing much attention to him but always noticing everything he did and it was so incredible. We could speak to one another without words. He did not always understand the reasons behind my actions and because of crazy circumstances, we were separated for over 30 years.

Last year, I finally found him, using every possible means and called him. By chance, he was leaving for work at 5:20am (I had tried to phone at every possible hour that seemed reasonable already), and he answered the phone!!! We had an intense 10 minute conversation, and then (after sleeping on the subject) felt like a total idiot for thinking he would care.

What do you think is in his mind? Why wouldn't anyone who felt such a connection NOT wish to continue staying in contact?

Is it a physical attraction to someone who is less experienced and less mature enough to "own" or is it something else, entirely? It certainly cannot be a meeting of the minds, so it must be strictly physical, right???

After all these years, I am now finally able to watch "Frasier" at my leisure and laugh hysterically at Niles do "his thing" and freak out.

After all the years I spent studying Medicine, it is good to sit back and watch two "professionals" live their lives as intellectuals, trying to fit into the rest of society.

Of all the shows on television, that one spoke to me on a very deep level because I remember trying to learn how to roller skate and then attempt to learn how to ride a bike. I could not get into the saddle of a horse without a step stool, but my volley ball was fabulous; whereas Frasier and Niles were only good at squash.

Those two most clearly represented my life--outdoor allergies and all the weird stuff. After discovering I was not the only person who lived that way, it's been refreshing to sit back, laugh and reminisce.
