2 AnswersLaw & Ethics6 years agoWho can you file a civil suit against?
If someone has been harassing you and committed crimes of vandalism and burglary against you can you file a civil suit? How about if they have also threatened bodily harm?

4 AnswersLaw & Ethics7 years agoIf a man proposed to you and you didn't like the ring, would you say no?
I had on Say Yes to the Dress and a woman told her boyfriend no because the ring wasn't big enough. I feel its about the love between two people, not the material value of the ring. She made him wait 15 years until he could afford the ring she wanted. I'm surprised he waited that long. If someone turned me down because the ring didn't cost enough, I'd feel like they didn't love me enough.
8 AnswersSingles & Dating9 years agoAt what age did you let your kids play outside by themselves?
I read about this mother who let her 21 month old play outside by herself. She thought it was safe because she would sit at the computer in the kitchen with the door open and "watch." The yard is fenced in and she thought it was really safe because they were on a base.
It only takes a second for an accident to happen. Someone could hop that fence and snatch her while mom was surfing. Military personnel are not above committing crimes either. The news is full of stories about military personnel who used their training to help them commit the crime.
My son is 22 months and there is no way I would let him out by himself. He even goes with me into the bathroom.
6 AnswersParenting9 years agoDoes your child take some of your drinks or food?
My son loves to steal my drinks and try to finish them. Apparently he does it at my friends' house too when they watch him. He doesn't take food too often. Although we were having lunch with his grandparents one day. He was sitting right next to my dad. He reached out and took the last little part of my dad's sandwich. We all cracked up. He just grinned. He was 20 months then.

7 AnswersToddler & Preschooler9 years agoDo you let your child run around in just a diaper?
I have always felt that looked a little like white trash. I can remember seeing people toting their child into the store (especially Wal-mart) in nothing but a diaper. I always thought it was tacky. Which is partly why I never buy those special print diapers for my son. They cost more money and no one would ever see them. Not to mention, the few times he has gotten his bottoms off to run around in his diaper, the next thing to come off is the diaper.
12 AnswersParenting9 years agoDoes your child have anything they hate being done?
My son hates to have his hair combed. Its thick, curly, and tangles easily. He wiggles so much its like he's having a grand mal seizure. Its weird because he doesn't mind having his hair washed. He hated his first haircut, but I believe that was because of the buzzing clippers. He is a trooper at everything else. No fights about medicine, loves the bath, loves having his teeth brushed, etc.

5 AnswersToddler & Preschooler9 years agoDo you think Yahoo should set up a chat site for all these could I be pregnant women?
It could have people with real knowledge on it. That way they could get some real answers and we wouldn't be bombarded by hundreds of "am I pregnant" questions every day.
3 AnswersOther - Yahoo Products9 years agoIf you had a C section was it planned or for medical reasons?
I had to have one because I had placenta previa. I didn't mind though because I have scoliosis and couldn't get an epidural. I don't think I could have handled natural child birth. My son has a large head too.
4 AnswersOther - Pregnancy & Parenting9 years agoWhen did you know what your child's name was going to be?
When I was seven weeks along, I picked out a boy and girl name. When I was four months along I switched the boy name around making the middle name first and altering the other name a little. I didn't know until I was six months that I would be using it. He kept his legs closed until then.
2 AnswersOther - Pregnancy & Parenting9 years agoDo you ever refer to yourself in the third person when talking to your kids?
My son is still little, so I am sure I will stop once he has a better grasp of language. Right now though I find myself saying, "Give it to mommy" or "Mommy needs to...". I think subconsciously I may be trying to encourage him to say mommy. He is delayed in speaking and doesn't say mama much.

6 AnswersToddler & Preschooler9 years agoIs there a show you won't let your kids watch because you hate it?
I don't put my son in front of the TV. In fact he won't even sit through a whole show. He does like Sesame Street and Caillou though. I refuse to let him watch Barney, Super Why, Thomas the Tank Engine, or Dora though. Those shows get on my last nerve.
Are there any shows that drive you crazy so much that you won't let your kids watch them or limit the viewing?
11 AnswersParenting9 years agoIf you were (are) a single parent would you teach special skills or tips to your child of the opposite sex?
As a mother, would you teach your son domestic skills or teach him not to do annoying manism like leave underwear on the floor. As a father, would you teach your daughter to be handy with tools or teach her about men when she starts to date.
I know that these days roles are reversed and a woman can be handy and a man can be domestic. I was just using the traditional roles.
I plan to teach my son to be able to cook and clean. I am going to teach him to treat women with the utmost respect. Teach him things like a gentleman always puts the seat down. I am not going to make him a mama's boy, but I am going to see that her is well rounded.
2 AnswersParenting9 years agoTo single moms, what do you do for Mother's Day?
Especially those who have small children, who cannot plan anything.
My son is 21 month old. I doubt he is going to fix me breakfast in bed. He has become excellent at pulling things off the shelf when we go shopping, but he lacks the funds to pay for them. He can still give me a great and sweet present of snuggling. :)
