My boyfriend hates all holidays where you have to give gifts. He says forced gift giving is stupid and he would rather give gifts just for the hell of it, out of the blue.

It all started with my birthday. Our birthdays are 11 days apart. I was out shopping for a gift for him and he texted asking what I was doing, so I told him and he got pissed. He was mad because now he had to get me something. I told him that he didn't and I just wanted to get something for him. I like doing it. So to make a long story short, we decided no birthday presents. So I took some of it back, I held on to part of it just in case. My birthday rolls around, no present but he takes me to an amazing dinner at a VERY expensive restaurant, which I guess was in lieu of a gift. His birthday, we went camping with a bunch of his friends.

So now Christmas is right around the corner and I'm torn. I love Christmas shopping and giving gifts it makes me happy.

I've been with him a year and I've never really gotten any gifts. I've gotten flowers a few times and a stuffed animal. I get him stuff all the time, a few days ago I found this hat he had been looking for, so I got it for him.

I'm not that kind of girl who just wants presents. I just want to be able to build a future with him and how am I supposed to look forward to that if I know holidays with him are going to be miserable experiences?

I don't what to do to make him change his mind.

My mother has always been very judgmental of everything I have ever done in my life. I am 22, almost 23. Ever since high school, she has always accused me of being a slut or doing drugs. I never dated at all in high school, I had one male friend and my mom knew he was gay. I have also never touched any drug in my life. I had my first real boyfriend at 19, and have only been in 2 other relationships since then.

I have been with my boyfriend for about 8 months and we are in a serious monogamous relationship, it has been since the beginning. She still constantly accuses me of acting like trailer trash or that my behavior is slutty. My boyfriend and I are talking about moving in together sometime within the next year, and I occasionally spend the night at his house, she of course thinks that it's slutty behavior and get mad when I do it. Yes, I do still live at home, but I pay for my share of the rent, bills, and my car.

I think maybe this is my problem.

What are good places to meet people?

I am really not in the mood for people to be immature, but I know you are gonna be so I'm over it.

So am I really that bad to look at? I can't seem to get anyone to notice me or give me a second glance...

So be honest and help me get out of this slump....

What genre? What kind of characters? What story line? And could you please leave tell me your age.

I've been talking to this guy for a little over a week. And we hit it off really well. He hasnt asked for my number yet. And I probably wont have a problem giving it him. He seems like a well adjusted,nice guy

He hasnt ever met anyone from online before, he was stood up for the first time late night. And I did once and it was an odd experience.

If so, what happened? I've watched it for the past year or so and have noticed it's decline.

It started when they renamed it Attack of the Show, instead of The Screen Savers, then Kevin left. Then Sarah left and took Brendon with her and they brought in annoying Olivia. And nw all they talk about on the show is girls.. WTF???

How do you any of you really know what God is? How do you really know that the Christian God isnt the same as every other God in every other religion? How do you know there really is a Heaven or a Hell?

Because The Bible says so? The Bible was written by mortal men thousands of years ago. By the Chruch? Yet again mortal men.

Have any of them been to Heaven? Have you ever been to Heaven? How do you know what He wants for you or anyone else?

How can you really say whats right or wrong? You never know what God wants until you get there. For all you know you cuold have been WAY off and God was messing with you.

How can you say for certain that God is even really there?

I know if comes down to having faith but there is a difference between having simple faith and being a Life on the Rock freak.

BTW Does anyone watch Life on the Rock? Scariest show I have ever watching that pastor guy in the robe is a such a perv...

I find it sad and disturbing how there is so much politcal and race bashing going on in here.

I am going to say right now I am a liberal and proud of that fact.

I don't understand how all of these supposed "Christians" are prancing around here judging us and telling us to get out of America? There's a reason why so many people call Christians hypocrites. If you stopped and thought about the things that you said and that book you read and praise so much and stand behind, you would realize that you are the ones without any moral values. If you actually took time to read the Bible you would notice that it says that God loves everyone. Whether you are black, white, pink, purple or green. We were all made in His image. We are all the same, even though we don't look it. So why does it matter. There are bigger problems with the world, much bigger problems. So the next time any of you begin another rant and start judging others look in the mirror.

In July I was at the biggent anime convention in the US and every year there is a Christians convention in the same convention center. The Anime con out numbers them like 500 to 1.

Anyway, my friend and I were at Starbucks in the hotel across the street when we hear these two women talking about extracting the devil from all of us. And one of them laughed about how she broke this kids constume. It was shocking. My friend and I kept listening to their proposterous converstaion. about how all these 30,000 freaks are all going to hell. Then one of them was talking about she spent $300,000 on something and the other said, "yes, but thats not getting you into heaven."

So heres my question. How on Earth could they possibly judge us? If they took a second to stop and ask what was going on around them instead of jumping to these ridiculous conclusions. And they consider themselves good Christians?? Breaking someones costume, they probably spent alot of time and money on.

I swear its really disturbing....
