I am new to the medical field and recently got a job in the medical field. I've been working there for a week and a half as a health unit coordinator in a very busy department.

After the 1st day, my trainer said she was going to let me on my own so I can feel the pressure. I've been working there for about a week and a half, and she is giving me a hard time saying I should already know everything.

The thing is, I was never really trained. Most of the time, she is just talking with other employees or doing something else. She doesn't like helping me out because she says I should know everything.

In my opinion, she was a really bad trainer to begin with. To top it off, I have a really hard time reading the doctor's orders which is basically chicken scratch is hardly legible. I have to do patient charts, answer the constantly ringing phone, write patient time up on the board, order lab tests, write patients information in a book, communicate with doctors and other nurses, and we dont have pagers so i have to constantly look for the nurses being asked for by other departments, and my trainer isnt really there when i have questions - and she seems like she hates helping me out. All this at the same time, literally.

Am i right to feel like it's not my fault?

I've lived all my life in a heavily populated Hispanic city. We always refer to each other by our first names: Ricardo, Jose, Manuel, Eduardo, Juan, etc.

When I moved to a less Hispanic populated area, I noticed that white people called us by our last names: Martinez, Hernandez, Escobar, Cruz, Gomez, etc.

Why? I don't mind it. Just wondering.

What are your immediate thoughts about a person who speaks various languages, and use one word to translate those thoughts.

I have a really vague memory about it, so Google hasn't been too useful. A few details I remember are about a guy who is in love with this girl, but he dies (I think). However, something happens and he is alive but he's like a zombie and is decaying. He is fully conscious and retains his personality. There was this scene where he's making out with said girl and his ear falls off.

What would happen if all the best white NBA players teamed up together? Would they be championship contenders? How would the media and fans react? We know chances are zero but lets juat hypothesize here.

I remember vaguely, but from what i can remember, it was a man who could see God. He had a wife, teenage daughter, and a little boy. One episode i remember a devil's minion posseses a high school guy and the daughter falls in love with him. The father tries to save her daughter. It was animated. It was a funny show.

This might sound like a dumb question, but if I have the heater on, and I want to make it less hot, do I lower the degrees or raise it? It seems like the lower I turn it down, the hotter it gets...and the more I raise it the less hot it gets. But my wife insists that I'm wrong.

I live in a border city (Laredo, TX). People here dominantly speak Spanish. We also get a lot of people from Mexico. Ironically, on 4th of July, this happened. I hate dealing with certain people that are really stupid, ill-mannered, and rude. I pretended I didn't know Spanish. They didn't understand English. She asked to speak to the manager, and I got in trouble. I really wanted to be callous and say, this isn't Mexico (Yes, I'm 4th gen Mexican-American).

Im bringin this up because the Spurs got ripped off for the GM of the year award. Spurs GM raped Larry Bird with this trade. Spurs got Leonard and two draft pick players playing overseas. Not only that, but the Spurs scouted out overlooked players and made them into significant role players. Pacers just had high draft picks.

From a scale of 1-10 or a scale breaker, how scary are the: Spurs, Thunder, Lakers, Heat, Pacers, Clippers, Boston, and Sixers.
