A sacrifice is when something is lost or given up for something else. God never lost Jesus, and Jesus was resurrected three days after he died.

People keep saying that Bible prophecies being fulfilled is proof of god. However, I can't seem to remember any prophecy that is specific enough to prove the existence of god. I only remember very vague prophecies that anyone can fulfill by total accident.

I see all kinds of videos on Facebook about cops punching cuffed men, shooting kids, etc. Then I see people who start posting hateful comments about the cops despite the fact that they don't even know the whole story. I feel that they should at least do some research on the situation before branding cops as "criminals of permission."

There was a letter in the mail about jury duty, and my brother says "I want a case where someone is murdered because it is more interesting."

That was followed by how the court really works and how you don't pick your cases. Then he proceeds to say "All the jury has to look through is the defendant's claim, it's not that hard to make the right decision."

I instantly realized that my brother is extremely ignorant about how the court works, especially if he thinks that making decisions are easy.

Anyway, if you can, please provide some examples of cases where prosecutors deliberately lie or do some tampering which leads to false convictions.

These people make their claims, but they never back it up at all. What evidence (if any) can prove that intelligent design exists?

there are answers in the back pf the book, but I want to know how they got those answers.

No one really specifies their meaning of intelligent design, and I just want to know(especially the religious people) what intelligent design means to you.

Everyone religious that I know of uses intelligent design to support their belief, and all I can really decipher ( I feel like I'm wrong but not sure) is

"An extremely complicated process of creation that produces complex organisms carried out by a deity."

If someone could please explain the following as well, THE FOLLOWING IS ONLY A QUESTION.

Why would an all powerful god intelligently design such a flawed being?

I see a lot of people saying things like "how did Earth end up at the exaaaact distance needed to support life?" or "how did all these molecules come together at the exact same time to create life?" Some go on to say that people are intelligent design, but lets face it, people aren't intelligently designed, it's just the only point of view and lifestyle we can comprehend. If anything, people have to force the world to adapt to them through the making of cities, irrigation canals, domestic breeding, scientific understanding such as artificial production of food, tools, and other materials...

It just seems like that religious people (most that I heard of anyway NOT ALL) deny the possibility of human potential and also the rest of the universe when they say that people are god's number one creation that he loves almost unconditionally.

Without trying to insult anybody I am just curious and I really want to know exactly what it is or what the main points are that makes religion so important to people. So many problems have been caused by religion, but despite that people still really cling on to their religion.

Is there any benefit by being religious or going to church?

Please, no answers that say we do charity or it brings people together.

For about two or so years, my mom has been going out with unknown people doing unknown things. My dad actually tried to ask her what it was after the first month she started but she said that she didn't want to talk about it. After that confrontation, my dad started asking me and my brother every single time my mom went out. Of course she never tells us anything, so we tell him we don't know. whenever my mom goes out, she usually comes home the next day or somewhere in the middle of the night when everyone is already asleep. Although she hasn't been going out as much, it still happens about once a week, and I feel like she is doing something fishy, but I know asking her won't do any good. My dad had actually confronted her again last night and she got really mad and says "if you think I'm cheating, I am not. That is a ridiculous accusation and if my family( she has a lot of brothers and sisters living in a foreign country) heard this they would get very angry." None of us have any real proof, so we don't want to destroy everything based on accusations.

Some things you should know that me and my brother have observed over the years:

My mom has explicitly stated to my dad, brother, and me to never ever look in her phone or browse through the text messages. She is very secretive when she goes out, and the details sound vague and usually contradictory. She also has conversations with unknown people/person on her phone and hangs up when she sees anyone approaching.

My laptop has been experiencing sudden disconnections usually at around 8pm pacific time. The wierd thing is that no other device in the house experiences this problem, and also the solution seems to be unplugging and reconnecting the cable or resetting the network, and not changing any settings on my laptop.(although this usually only fixes it temporarily). It says something about an invalid ip address every time it happens. At first i thought the problem was my laptop, but it cant be if resetting the modem can solve the connection problem. I also thought it was the modem, but only my laptop seems to go through this, and no other device in the house. Location is not the problem as well, because my phone(s4) can connect to it from the same location. My laptop is a Dell Inspiron, it is about 3 years old.

The laptop I am trying to connect through wifi to my home network is a Dell Inspiron model N5040(windows 7). I have 2 adapters for wifi network connection, one is a Dell Wireless 1502.11b/g/n model, and the other is a microsoft virtual WiFi Miniport adapter(both have internet protocol version 6(TCP/IPv6) and 4(TCP/IPv4). The WiFi adapter's sharing settings are put on "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection." Only one adapter can use this setting at a time. The home network has a WPA2-PSK security type and has the radio type 802.11g. The host computer is also a windows 7.
