  • Road trip to Las Vegas?

We are planning a girls weekend away in Las Vegas and are looking for some ideas of things to do while we are there that might not be in a tour book or on a Map. We are looking to go St.Patricks day weekend of 2007, but since we are all from different parts of US and Canada have to start planning now.

  • Condolence card etiquette.?

My friends and neighbour died yesterday leaving behind his wife and two children. He had a brain aneurism and is now on life support waiting for his organs to be donatated. Would it be in poor taste for my husband and I to send a condolence card now, even though he is technically not deceased, or should I wait until he has been taken off life support. I don't know what to do in a situation like this. I am sad to have lost our friend, and sad for his family.

  • Ipod - shuffle is not not working..?

I have had it since December and has worked fine (easy to use, download songs, etc.) It could be used for up to twelve hours without having to charge it... it all of a sudden no longer will hold it's charge. I have tried to charge it the past two days in a row, once on the computer and once on a wall charger. Any suggestions... it was a gift, I have no receipt and no longer have the original box.

  • What is a good recipe for Spanish Rice.?

I was given a recipe for spanish rice that said to brown the rice in olive oil, then add onions and garlic. In another pot you are supposed to combine chicken stock, tomato paste, oregano and salt. I tried to make this three different times, and even though it looked right, the rice itself was crunchy (I did try making it without browning the rice too) This is not the first time I have tried to make the rice, but everytime I do, it turns out yucky... I need help.

  • work etiquette?

I work at a company and one fellow employee impeticular doesn't wear deodorant. His body odor is very offensive and complaints have been made to his supervisor about him. The supervisor however, will not do anything about this. What can we do.

Please note: he is a car technician and works out in a shop (which is not air conditioned) and is quite sweaty. It's really quite disgusting!

  • I set up my sister.?

My sister came to visit me and when she was here, she met someone I work with. During her 2 month visit they saw each other quite often. She left about 1 1/2 months ago and missed him a lot, so invited him to come and see her. They have continued to talk on the phone, but last night she told me that she really likes him... as a friend. I work with him and he is always asking me about her. I want to stay out of this, but feel responsible for introducing them. What should, or shouldn't I do.
