What are good books about going the process of grieving?
My dad recently died and I'd like to send my mom some good books on dealing with process she is going through and coming to terms with what has happened. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!
4 AnswersBooks & Authors1 decade agoWhat is the best book you have ever read?
This is also the question I'm asking on my 360 blog right now. Could you name the book and say a little about why you love it so much? I'm curious, but I'm also thinking I might find some good stuff to read over the summer. Thanks!

6 AnswersYahoo Pulse1 decade agoCan anyone recommend a way to reduce light pollution for amateur astronomy?
I live close to London, and light levels keep me from being able to watch the stars. It is a hobby I've loved since I was 10, so I'm fairly sad I can't do it any longer. I have lots of light filters for my scope, but they don't seem to be able to cope with these levels. I know I could travel miles to some remote area, but short of that, is there anything I could do? Thanks!
9 AnswersAstronomy & Space1 decade agoWhy are rubbish answers so often selected as best answer?
Why is inaccurate, incoherent and incomprehensible information so often posted as a legiminate answer? And if it is, why is being allowed to remain and why is it often being selected as "Best Answer." Doesn't that make this process a joke? Why should any of us be bothered when such truly awful and inaccurate answers are so often being chosen? I'll probably get one incoherent answer to this question, and if it goes to a vote, it will be selected as best answer...Par for the course.

12 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agoWhy was my question removed? I posted a question: "What makes you who you are?" and it has been removed...WHY?
I posted the question above and it was removed. The reason given made no sense to me. I used a very short video, but it was just nice and inspirational. There was no adult content what so ever! And the 26 people who answered the question just wasted their time in answering it. I've emailed Customer Care but no response. Anyone out there had a similar thing happen? HELP!
16 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoIf life were a multiple choice test, which answer would you chose? Please explain your choice.?
A. You live. You die. End of story
B. You live . You die. Beginning of another story
C. You live. You die. Maybe something else happens. Who knows?
D. You never really lived anyway, so live or die, who cares?
(Creativity and originality are very much appreciated.)

If you want to give an ironic or "it's funny 'cause it's cruel answer", by all means feel free. Just know that I will be deciding this myself and I'm not very sophisticated. Your wit may be wasted on me and irony if just too complex for me to understand. Thanks in advance!

1 AnswerOther - Games & Recreation1 decade agoWill human beings survive for the next 100 years?
Global warming, destruction of natural habitates, and the massive depletion of energy reserves are just some of the things that might signal the end of human life. Are we doing enough to make sure that we are doing to ensure our own survival? If so, what?
20 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agoWhat is up with Time magazine making the person of the year YOU?
Hey, I'm an American living in England and I just wonder what depth have been reached in imagination that TIME magazine has a mirror on its cover for December and the person of the year is you and you and you and you and even ME if I buy their cheesy magazine. What is up with that anyway...?
4 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoAre there any religions which require you to give up your humanity?
Can any religion which requires you to self-eviscerate, self-immolate or kill another human being ever be enlightened?
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy is doing the very best you are capable of in life so often inadequate?
In your answer don't resort to some sort of Darwinian argument about how I must be stupid or my best would be good enough.

14 AnswersTelevision1 decade agoHow can I renew a website I've owned for ten years?
I've just found out that ICANN regulations seem to prohibit anyone from from continuing to own a site they have had for ten years. Seems at the end of ten years it reverts tothe public domain again. Big mulit-nationals don't seem to encounter this. How can I continue to own the site I've had for almost ten years now?
