If you ever need to be hospitalized, do you prefer to be tended by male nurses or female ones?
Mainly for the guys in this section but anyone can answer…
I’m going to have another chemo cycle next Monday (Eeeeeekkkkk. ☹), and I just found out through Facebook that my favorite male nurse that I’m kinda infatuated with, is on a vacation leave. I know It’s so disappointing since he’s one of the things that keeps me motivated going through this hard process. So, my LGBT do you prefer to be cared by male nurses or female ones? I personally prefer male nurses (I know I might sound like a pervert) but male nurses seem sooo much gentler than female ones, and they’re kinda sexy too!
13 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender10 years agoIs it safe to do sports right after chemotherapy ends?
My chemotherapy treatment will, tentatively end in a month or so. While I'm still not as fit as I was before, I want to do some sport activities after the treatment finished, they're not going to be a very demanding sports but more recreational ones like water polo, or cycling, nothing serious. My mom disagree with the idea and told me to wait until I'm fully recovered, but that will take such a long time and I'm very bored most of the time, kinda miss the old days when I was physically active. Do you guys have any experience regarding this matter?
My background:
24 years old, 5 years history of Crohn's Disease, was taking Himura for 2.5 years but immediately stopped after they found 4 cm cecal mass (B cell Burkitt's Lymphoma) on colonoscopy. Undergoing chemotherapy for 5 moths so far, and the Crohn's is currently in partial remission. I do light exercises like cardio and fitness ball during chemo.
5 AnswersCancer10 years agoDuring these unsettling times, will LGBT issues take a back seat to economy in the upcoming 2012 US election?
I'm not a US citizen but the US politics has been really an interesting subject for me as long as I remember, I’ve been watching the stock market on a wild rollercoaster ride this week, I also witness the United States’s credit rating downgraded for the first time in history, as the US government try to get a handle on the country’s skyrocketing debt. With these distressing developments, I must say that I was enthusiastic to say the least with the 2012 Republican Presidential debate in Iowa couple of days ago, and surprisingly enough I found the solutions offered by Michele Bachmann and Ron Paul to be quite commendable. Up to the point that I agree with Michael Cole-Schwartz's statement that with these overwhelming economic struggles, it would be a little out of touch if LGBT community pick their leader solely based on whether we could get married or not.
The question is; as an LGBT person, will you elect a candidate whose economic solutions are considerably more assuring, despite their opposition to LGBT social movements?
8 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender10 years agoSister won't give a single compliment to my cooking?
Starting earlier this year, my sister has been staying at my place, usually I do all the housework including the cooking, while she spends most of her time doing her own business (a med student and also a heavy sleeper), this became an issue late, not only she shown off the 'I don't care' attitude about how hard I've taken care of the house and it's occupants, she also stated that she hates my cooking, which is very insulting! since she's able to eat them without choking. I'm not implying myself as a maverick cook, but I guess I'm a decent one, and it was proven numerous times when some relatives came to visit me said that my cooking is surprisingly good, let me give you an example:
Yesterday morning I cooked several dishes enough for us to eat all day, she came home at the afternoon with some take-away food, very forgivable since she didn't really know that I planned to cook that day, but later that night she went out again and came home with some fast food. I stored the food on the fridge so we can eat them for today's breakfast. But this morning she went out again and came home telling me that she has already eaten outside, and said that she can't eat my cooking because they didn't suit her taste, she said they're bland, too traditional, and (I tasted them and they're NOT!!), basically she didn't like the kind of dish I made. and she planned to cook for herself, so after destroying almost half of the kitchen, she tasted her own cooking and express how delicious her cooking was in an extremely exaggerating manner like "OMG IT TASTES SOOO GOOOD!!!", I tasted it a bit and her cooking was undeniably.laughable, half cooked vegs, very dried up, not to mention 100% sure she forgot the salt, this came from someone who told that my cooking was bland!
Cooking is my hobby and all I want to do is to keep both of us healthy with home-cooked meal, but I couldn't take her ignorance and enormous ego, she just doesn't bother to show a bit of gratitude that I tire myself soooo much juggling between my hectic job and running the errands, while she does nothing, what should I do? I'm ready to explode right now!
Or am I the one who's hypersensitive?

As a correspondence to Razzes question about this category being overrun, I just logged in less than 15 minutes ago, and I had already found at least 5 questions that primarily revolved around the asker attractiveness, Didn't they know that such questions violates the community guidelines, and outside the bounds of Yahoo! Masculine gay guys, Have you ever found out that you had actually been acting way more effeminately without ever realizing it?
It happens to me, am I not as straight-acting as I thought I was, or do I have the 'so-called' dissociative identity disorder?
It all started few weeks ago, when I spent my weekend as usual with my longtime boyfriend who lives alone in a neighboring country next to mine (less than 1 hour flight, we have been visiting each other almost every weekend and holiday, for over a year now) we did our usual things, but then he confessed to me that he'd been wanting to tape our 'love sessions' (I used the term to avoid violations), I hesitated at first but then agreed that the final product was meant for our eyes only, so last saturday, he showed up at my apartment, with all the equipments needed, and we taped our 'togetherness'. When I saw the video I was utterly shocked on my behavior on the bed, mainly because my voice changed dramatically. Although I'm mostly a receiver, I always thought that I had never shown any hint of gayness in my usual mannerism, I thought I was like those straight guys, only better dressed, and I'm proud of my masculinity. But that person who supposed to be me in the video moaned like a stereotypical super flamboyant guy on bed. I was like "Who the wolfgangpuck is that sissy?!" and my extremely excited boyfriend looked at me in confusion and said that I had always been like that when we were 'loving' each other.
How could that be? what do you think about this matter?
11 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agowhy excessive religiosity, poverty, ignorance and lack of education are often correlated?
I'm referring this question to the voice of God,... Ms. Mildred Pervis
I'm a non believer who has nothing against religions as long as they maintain their peaceful nature.
But I saw a lot of it, and it seems it doesn't happens only at under-developed countries but still visible in highly industrialized countries as well...
Is there any emotional rewards in exchange of excessive religious practices?
5 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoOpenly LGBT fellows, how do you feel about others like me....?
Openly LGBT fellows (especially those who live in a state that fully or partially protects their rights a s a legal citizen),
How do you feel about others like me wants to express our sexual identity, but face no social guarantee, nor protection in our area?
This is the condition of LGBT community in my country, according to legal terms
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The penal code prohibits heterosexual and homosexual sodomy with punishments including up to twenty years in prison and or fines and physical punishments. Another part of the section more narrowly prohibits acts of "gross indecency with another male person" with punishment including up to ten years in prison.
State legislators are permitted to enact state laws. In 2003 a certain province fully adopted Islamic law and thus the punishment for sodomy in that province is death. In 2007, Most of the provinces adopted a similar legal system.
In 2005 the President stated that the majority of the society would never accept homosexuals, He also stated that the country will deport any visiting foreign cabinet ministers, or diplomat who is gay, and warned gay ministers in foreign countries not to bring along their partners while visiting the nation.
Earlier this year, the government banned anyone who is gay, lesbian, bisexual or transsexual from appearing on any media. Later, an Official government health minister stated that homosexuality and masturbation helped to spread the H1N1 infection.
Any kinds of bashing, discrimination, and hate-actions towards LGBT people are considered socially acceptable, and a patriotic act to correct the morals of the society.

5 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoFrequently mistaken for a 13 year old child?
Hi, Im 22 years old guy and thanks to god almighty and his blessings I'm freakishly timid ( 5'5 - 105lbs ), it's very embarrassing because others keep mistaken me for a 12-13 years old child, asking stuffs like, "where do you go to school?" or "Are you in the 8th or 9th grade" while I actually had finished college, to worsen things up, my boyfriend is 6'5 and very much built, every time I went out with him, people thought we are father and son although we're only 5 years apart, and he looks just like his age! Is there anyway to change my physical appearance, like surgery or else? I have difficulty to be taken seriously in the adult world.
14 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoIs it rude to be 23 minutes late for a dinner appointment?
Yesterday my aunt and her husband invited me and my sister for a dinner in a restaurant, it was quite a sudden invitation since she called me at 1 PM and the dinner was at 7 PM, it was my sister who accepted the invitation and she didn't know that I had something small to do around 3 AM, I thought it was no problem since my business would not take longer than 2 hours but I finally came home at 6.15, when I got the news that my aunt had already arrived in the restaurant (WTF?!) had quick shower and dressed, and went to the place at 6.40, we caught by traffic and arrived late at 7.23, My sister and I had a fight and she blamed me of our lateness? was I being rude and disrespectful?

6 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoHuge Crush on Anderson Cooper?
Although I'm in a long time relationship, I always keep having celebrity crushes that change over the time (jude law, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Ryan Phillipe). it had come to my senses that my celebrity crushes is just silly things and I enjoyed them without any guilty feeling.
But recently I develop a gigantic crush on CNN anchor Anderson Cooper, and when I realized that he's gay, I know something is different, and yet my crush grows incontrollably inside me, everytime I wake up the first thing that came out to my mind is his face and his name, watching Anderson Cooper 360 makes me blushing, usually I do not tend to very fond of older guys yet he's 20 years my senior. it's definitely different and much stronger than my other crush.
and now I'm feeling very guilty to my b.f, I feel like cheating on him
Am I in love with Anderson Cooper?
What should I do?
hhhh......
