  • What are the words to this snipped of a French song?

I know this is a little bit hard to hear. I recorded this in a public place while I was in France and I really like listening to this song and want to at least know the words so I can search it and find the actual song itself. The whole thing is only a 10 second snipped of the chorus. I understand there is some background noise, but if you can understand any words at all please answer it here. Any word would get me one step closer to finding the song. The song is in the link. Thank you!

  • Why do people insist on Hijab?

Salam Alekom. The Hijab was not listed in the Quran, God commanded woman to cover their bosoms. I didn't know some people had bosoms on their head. A piece of cloth on their head followed by the most taunting close is not in any way religious. They say the Hijab halts men's desires, however, it's quite the contrary! The more woman hide themselves the more men's desires roar hence eventually leading to harassment, rape, etc...

If you are going to try to tell me it fard, please don't cite hadith. I follow the Quran and Sunnah fi3liya only. Please look at this, short but full of meaning.

  • High School election possible Conspiracy?

Good day everyone, I am currently a Junior in High School.I don't want to get into too deep detail. But anyway I am running for Student Government President. I am currently the Vice President. The President, a good friend of mine, might as well be the most famous face in the school. Everybody knows him. Now me, in the Student Government I've become a well liked character (Trying not to sound cocky), I usually make all the speeches in events that require a speech under short notice. He usually hosts the events that are planned by him.

Last year in my elections for Vice President, I ran against the Salutatorian of the class above me and I had scored three times more votes. My honorable opponent, the current President is a year younger than me. And according to the rules he must have been a Senior to run for President, The adviser however bent the rules for him. He was allowed to run for President, nobody had run against him. Nobody had ever run against him starting from elementary school.

The problem is, the adviser seems to really favor the incumbent, despite keeping an unbiased attitude. Here's the thing, this year he decided not to announce the votes. Meaning, he's going to count the votes quietly in the back and read aloud the victors, as opposed to the previous years' reading aloud each vote one by one.

I fear he might alter the results or something. Not that I don't trust him or anything, but something is telling me it just seems a little fishy. Am I worrying too much? If there is a chance what should I do? The elections are this Friday, May 13th. Thank you very much.

  • A creative way to ask a girl to Junior Prom.?

Good day everyone, just so you know a little background details, I've known this girl since she first came to our school as a freshman. Currently she is a Sophomore and I am a Junior. She was in an 2 consecutive elective classes with me. The second I saw her I liked her. Now, I'm not really the most popular or the smoothest, but I've got a lot of friends. There was however, one problem, she had a boyfriend so I sort of backed off and just been friends. She on the other hand is one of the most beautiful and popular girls in school. We both have really high grades and are in the most advanced classes the school offers to our respective grades. Although she is not in any of my classes, I see her in the Student Government meetings every week as I am the Vice-President of our school.

Over the summer she broke up with her boyfriend, but they still hang out and they still like each other. Junior Prom is right around the corner four months from now and her ex boyfriend is going to prom with with a friend. In order to go to prom you need a Junior to go with you.

Recently I drew a picture of her and I gave it with a note on the back telling her that I think of her as my best friend. She loved it. I wanted to assert that we are friends so that asking her to prom wouldn't be the same as asking her out. Now I need a plan B, a creative way to ask her out to prom without scaring her off or getting her ex to be weary of me. Thank You

  • Why do people put Hadiths in equal level to Quran?

I don't understand why people would do that? It's one thing to follow Muhammad, but we don't know if that was Muhammad's words or not. You see, El Quran was written during Muhammad's time, the Hadiths were all written 200 years after Muhammad died by El-Bokhary. The way they knew it was people would listen to Muhammad, they would tell their kids, their kids would tell their kids and on. For 200 years! When you play a game of telephone for 1 minute, the subject changes either slightly or immensely. That's 1 minute, imagine 200 years!!

If people are still fighting to believe in the Hadiths, well there is a Hadith that Muhammad said that tells to take only from the Quran. And why stop their? Lets take it up to the Quran, God said "Fa be ay hadithen ba3d Allah to'mino be" Meaning "Do not follow any Hadith after God" That is crystal clear from the words of God himself.

Yet people still take from the words of Imam's and mufasereen. Saying stuff like El Hijab/niqab, or stuff like the beard. And do you know what this got people to do? They put Muhammad equal to God... They are doing the very thing Korish was doing. Mushrikeen. If you've ever sat down in a Friday preaching, they talk more about Muhammad than God. A preacher than say the name of God a thousand time and nobody will move not even say SWT or Aza wa jal, but once he says Muhammad the mosque shakes from the people yelling PBUH. What about God, what about the one who created Muhammad, who created You? Who created Islam and Christianity, and Judiasim. Who created Jesus and Moses, who created Everything! How could we not respect God like that and take our religion from people who want to trade with religion Amr Khaled or even Hassan El-Banna long ago. Just why?

  • High School Suspension?

Currently I am a Sophomore in High School but in Freshmen year I got into a small fight at the end of the year and I was suspended for the first three days of Sophomore year.

I am really scared right now that this will effect my College App. I have a 3.84 GPA as of Freshman year. I'm in all Honor classes as well as doubling up in order to take Junior classes. I've written four books, and the Teachers have always complemented me on my behavior, I am really really afraid right not, will it count against me and bring me down for joining a college as say Harvard or Princeton?

    Thank you in advance

  • How would an Egyptian American get a Girlfriend?

I realize this might be a little bit... weird. But I am Egyptian by descent and I live in Brick town, New Jersey. I am a Sophomore in high school and I really do not think I fit in. I'm not sure if it is because of the race or not, but I try my best to look the best I can. I always shower before school and brush my hair and teeth, and look for the best clothes I can find. I can not go a day without exercising and strength training. Also, I have many friends that both Girls and Boys. However, if I ask out a girl, they would always give an excuse then stop talking to me. I try to do it in the gentlest way, I try to do everything for girls and even if they don't ask me and they want something I ask them if I can get it for them. Please if someone can tell me, Tyvm

  • October War.... Yom Kippur War?

The thing I don't understand is why is there such a controversy over this?? ppl on both sides say they won. I am an Egyptian American citizen. But I am biased. So lets look this through, If I am not mistaking Sinai was attacked by Israel and conquered. What happened was in 1973 Sadat invaded Suez by blocking napalm holes and watering down the sand walls.

Lets skip the whole outline of the war but, why is it that it is said that the third army was surrounded and they could have lost. Egypt could have destroyed the surrounding forces but that would yield in death of the third army which they didn't want, Though could have done. And correct me if I'm wrong the Israel army when they crossed East across the Suez Canal they were heading to Ismalia but were stopped. Where does it say they were surrounding them? And besides.. it doesn't make sence.. Doesn't Egypt have domestic forces? That technically if you look at it the forces they say surrounded the third army were also surrounded themselves?

Any way the best we could ask for is peace, which has happened. But why is there too much propaganda saying that we are monsters when all we wanted to do was reclaim our birthright land. Just been a mystery to me.
