Sooo, I'm hoping that there is a reasonable answer for this, But why do people continue to pressure others into following into their religion? Is it somewhere written in the majority of religious books to convert others to follow? or to "save them". I'm not asking for religious quotes about people going to hell if they don't believe, etc or whatever religion,

But why do care so much about other people, who are merely strangers to them, don't follow the same religion as they do? Looking for any evidence for the reason why to this answer. Psychology would greatly be appreciated or anything science based, quotes from said religions would be great too, if relevant.

Hi, I recently am married to my wife who is a canadian citizen. I live in the US and plan on visiting her again in canada. We plan on flying out together to the bahamas for our honeymoon seeing how we previously didn't have time to plan one. So, basically, I would be going into Canada, just to fly out, come back and leave again to the US. I know that seems silly, but surprisingly it's cheaper this way. My question is though, should I be worried about crossing the canadian border because i now have my spouse there? I eventually plan to move up there but have not turned in any of the paperwork, etc

Hello, I went to the GOES website with the intention if applying to the Nexus program but somehow mistakenly applies for the Global Entry program where my documentation has been approved and they are waiting for an interview. This all happened earlier today. I had meant to apply for the nexus program, is there any way they can change it? I had tried calling and have sent an email but am unsure of what to do now. I just need some advice. I went to visit my girlfriend on new years not too long ago. she lives in canada and I live in the US. We're in a girl-girl relationship, and from once telling the story to the border crossing officer, he gave us a harder time than I usually had. I suppose it's because we're in a relationship, not because we're gay. anyways, so on new years, i had little sleep having worked the night before and said some things i probably should not have. basically having said i was interested in moving to canada and i was visiting my friend. he also asked about the macbook i was carrying in the new case, which my gf bought online and had it sent to my house because us prices are cheaper and i gave a suspicious answer, i suppose.

anyways, they sent me to immigration and asked to see my return ticket, and what i was doing in canada. and typed it into the computer it made me feel nervous. and on the way back through us customs i got an "agriculture search"

I am going to canada again in about a month and am worried about being troubled again like last time. i know now that i should be much more awake when answering. should i tell them it is my gf i am visiting or will that promote more questions and suspicion.

also, what were they doing with the information the first time they typed it into the computer.

After talking it over with my girlfriend, we have decided to get married. I am an American, and she is Canadian.

I understand that after we get married she will have to sponsor me and wait for the processing time.

I plan on living in the states while this is happening

and moving over once I am granted citizenship. So that way I can continue working.

I am wondering though about how do I go about marrying her when I am in Canada? Is it a long lengthy process

because I am from the states? Or is it simply going down to the courthouse and signing papers and turning

it in to get registered? How do I go about doing this? I understand there could be questioning our marriage because

Hello, I am looking to move to Canada in a year or two and am wondering how difficult of a process it all is. I do have family living in Canada, my girlfriend (of over a year) also lives there. I'm fluent in English, I will also have a job arrangement because I can transfer within my company. hi, i have just a basic checking account. my younger brother has an account under my name but all of his card is in his name and everything. recently he had an issue with the bank with overdraft fees and we just settled it now. it was overdraft like a couple hundred dollars for one month. anyways, i am wondering if this would affect my credit score at all? I know that banks can send some information but I'm wondering because the card is in his name, etc and how long does it normally take banks to send the information that the account was overdraft for this long, etc.

I have the car listed above and am unsure about how to find the correct rim for the car. I don't need the rims to be identical, I just need it to fit the car because I do not have a spare tire.

How do I go about finding the correct rim size? I've tried junk yards but often times they ask me the width of the rim. I know my tire size is 195 75 14

I live in a suburban area with my family, and some would consider it "upper class".

Anyways, my family and I have a lot of cars because of the fact that there are three teenagers in the house. Obviously, living in a suburban area, there's not a lot of parking, unless we can do it in front of the house.

We are planning to get rid of a car or two.

We occasionally have to park in front of the neighbor's across the street house. We don't let our car sit there for weeks on end, the longest it will be there is for a day.

Anyways, one of the cars we own was this old blazer.

The women across the street has always been kind of a stuck up, snobby kinda person.

She left a note one night on the blazer saying "it's fine if you want to junk up your own front yard, but move the piece of junk from my front yard".

I considered that really rude and obviously would not want to listen to that.

Anywho, I left my car parked there for the day because I had the day off...

I got a nicer note this time "please don't park here, thanks".

But I still think it is childish to leave notes, if they would have just came over and asked, I'd have no problem with it...but leaving notes makes me not want to cooperate.

Any opinions on this? It's public streets...public parking, no home owners association, no nothing.

I just feel like disregarding their notes because I find it childish...and we don't take up the whole sidewalk with one car! we're at least cautious of that..

I had a really weird dream last night...and was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what it could mean. basically, I looked down at my legs. around each leg, there was a plant growing around my ankle. Like a bunch of little plants. It looked similar to the picture I post below. but the plants were smaller. they grew around my ankle and around the part right before my knee cap. I was really creeped out by it. I thoguht I needed to see a doctor. Instead, I pulled the plants out of my right kneecap. And realized I had to push the roots out from under my skin too. I did this, and it didn't grow back. I came to the realization in my dream that this is because I didn't clean myself properly after cleaning a dirty room. The chemicals or germs made the plant grow. Any ideas what it could mean? It really felt strange and more of a negative feeling than a positive.

Hi, I recently got an MIP in California. I am 18 years old and this is my first offense. I am wondering my chances of getting into a divisional program or whatever to get this off of my record and not be considered convicted. I am a generally good kid. I have been working for two years and I am currently going to college. I did very well in high school with advanced classes, etc. I do not know if any of this will help. I know they are not going to see it as "this is your first offense, take it easy" but more of "You're only 18 and you're already getting in trouble". I really desperately want to get into a diversion program and will do whatever it takes to get it done. What do I need to do to help my chances? What should I let them know? Please help.

Hi, I recently got arrested for possession of alcohol in California. I am 18 years old and realize that my license will be suspended for a year. I know that I can apply for a "critical need to drive" sort of thing to allow me to drive to and from work/school or to see an ill family member. My mom is always working throughout the day and cannot bother to take me anywhere. And, my brother, the other driver in the house is still in high school and his schedule is completely different from mine. Also, with work, the hours I work are odd and the buses do not always run at those times. Plus, the buses are garbage and sometimes they never even come! Also, one of the colleges I plan to go to does not have a bus system near it in order to get there. But, regardless. I am wondering under these circumstances, what are my chances of getting my critical need to drive license approved?? It is very important to me. Please answer.

I just got a Minor in possession of alcohol. I'm 18 years old. It is a 25662 a BP. It was found in the car. I have read multiple places that my license will be suspended for a year. It is a misdemeanor in California. It was checked no under correctable violation. I heard the fine is up to 250$ or 32 hours of community service. Is that accurate? Also, is it for certain that my license will be suspended? is there any way I can get restrictions on my license, such as, going to and from school/work? this is my first offense. I also am curious as to whether or not I can get this off of my record. And, the officer did not ask to check our vehicle but instead searched it without asking. But claims she asked the driver, who did not hear her ask. She also stated that because there were minors in the car, who were already breaking the law, she has the right to check the car or something like that. Please answer.
